I was told to put moisturizer on while your skin was still a little wet by my dermatologist. I shower everyday but I don’t wash my hair every time. If I washed my hair every day it would be one big frizz ball lol
    Thanks for sharing Doc 👍

That's the key - moisturizing damp skin! 😉

I take two showers a day and have most of my life! The morning shower is to awaken and the evening shower is to relax. Works for me.

I have dry skin but can't see myself not showering 2 times a day, I guess it's ingrained in me from childhood. I agree moisturizing right after is the key, especially during the winter months.

Don't stay in too long, use lukewarm water, pat dry, moisturize afterwards. I use Bath and Bodyworks lotion afterwards because I love smelling great!

Too much can be subjective. Too much of anything is not good.

Catch 22 to much of anything could not be good. I do linger showers in the evening shorter one in the am. I dab the water off and go right to a moisturizing lotion, making sure it’s well absorbed.

I sweat a lot. My clothes wet, believe me it s not confortable. Have to take 3 showers a day. Soap 3.5 pH. Acidic.

I hear ya! There are some options out there for widespread sweating - your local dermatologist should be able to walk you through them.

Do you have any suggestions for very hard water (up to 10 pH). My skin has always been on the dry side, and my hard water just makes it even dryer, even with moisturizing right after a shower. I've tried lotions that claim to combat hard water dry skin, like Aveeno Creamy Moisturizing Body Oil (and quite a few others), but they don't seem to work long term. Sometimes my skin feels like it's crawling🌵😕

That's a tough one! If you're able to, installing a water softener is a game changer.

@@DrMudgil Yes, I'm looking into that, they are expensive but not overly so and now easy to install, but the cost of upkeep for extreme hard water can be expensive. I was hoping for a "Magic Serum"😋. Thanks, Doc!🙏💚

What is the best moisturiser for eczema?

Anything mild and fragrance free! I like Neutrogena Hydro Boost lately, but there are many great options out there.
