With the 2' lowering springs. 2 questions. 1= will you still be able to align the front end without having to purchase additional parts?? 2= What will the TOTAL drop be, from factory height?? TIA
I took it to my alignment shop guy and he nad no issues. Measuring from my fender to the ground was right at 2inches. Now im sure with time they could possibly settle a tiny bit more but I wont know for now. Also I would recommend new shorter shocks. A big bump can and will make factory shocks bottom out and I did remove the bump stops.
@jtjones9385 I posted the pics I had stored on my phone on the Next Week's Adventure facebook page. Head on over and check them out. Before pics are right after I got it home and started stripping out the interior. Hope it helps.
Thanks for the response! Another question I have a 07 ram one of the outer tie rod ends boot is ripped is there way to change the boot instead of the whole outer tie rod?
@@carnagemercs7039 I personally haven't changed just the boot. They do sell just the boot so I would think yes it is possible. Depending on how long its been torn the joint could have damage from water or weather so double check it.
@@carnagemercs7039 if it was mine just a couple days torn I'd swap the boot and wouldn't worry about an alignment. As long as you don't make any adjustments to anything nothing should change. Be sure to properly torque spec everything back together.

@@jtjones9385 front and rear can be done in a weekend.
Website where u got ur parts from places and thanks in advance 🙏
Rear flip kit and front coils came from AmericanTrucks.com
will i need to get a alignment after installing the front 2 springs?
I would recommend it. Anytime you mess with steering or suspension components it can have an effect on it.

@@nextweeksadventure it has been a couple days since it’s been ripped but if I were to replace the boot would a alignment be necessary?
