Just got this, thanks for this simple video showing how to do it, appreciate you guys! But on the dash cover do you force the edges in the grooves and apply pressure? Or just completely lay it over and let the adhesive and weight do it all? Thanks
Good idea to snug it up the best you can and then apply the weight and the tape. Thanks for the message! Also we are here to help via our live customer care if you need us: 800-633-7090.
Thanks for reaching out. Various reasons are to blame - but generally the type of plastic used during a certain model year will not hold up to the heat and other factors that tend to make dashes crack.
You can heat the dash cover up with a heat source like a hair dryer and this will allow the silicone adhesive to release so the dash cover can be removed. If a clean up and reinstall of the cover is not possible, contact us for a replacement under warranty. www.coverlaymfg.com
@@robwilson1140 Thank you for pointing that out, I was having trouble spotting what you meant. If you purchase a dash cover from us we will warranty it when you have to remove it for access if you have a problem. These covers can be heated with a heat gun or blow dryer and then removed.

How do the covers and the silicone adhesive stand up to extreme heat such as temps and high humidity in Florida- Thanks
They do very well! Ours come with a lifetime warranty also, so if you have an issue, get in touch and we will send another one.
Can you get the factory front piece, then overlay the back main dash cover
Are parts are meant to go over the factory dash and vent area - so as long as the factory pieces are there, a Coverlay® will work fine.
What if you put the dash cover on and then needed to replace the speakers is it still easy to get to the dash speakers?

Why did you half cover the access panel on passenger side? Why not make it the same as driver side?
I'm not quite following what you mean?
coverlaymfg At 7:37 you can clearly see the dash cap covering the side access panel just below the side window defrost vent.

coverlaymfg Why not retool the dash cap to go around the access panel like it does on the driver side then you wouldn’t have to remove the cap at all.
@@robwilson1140 When I checked on this I was informed that they needed that portion to give the dash cover stability on that side so it attached well.
Do they come in tan?
Yes there are different shades, here is one we call "neutral": coverlaymfg.com/i-12090108-coverlay-22-805c-ntl-interior-accessories-kit.html
Cheep plastic always cracks
Question my orginal dash cover is gone can your cover still be used?
You do need to have some of your original dash to attach our dash cover to.
The whole top of mine is gone but I still have the outer parameter, so as long as you have the edges to glue it to it will be ok
Hi, how do you remove the cover if you need remove the entire dash cover top (ie. gage change)? thanks
