quick question… will the 4WD kit work on a single cab? I have a 17 express single cab
@@memoslaps been wondering this forever, can’t find answers
@@SammTC still haven’t found a straight answer bro it’s been a whole year 😂
its perfect height. I plan on doing this to my truck as well. this video helps with assuring these lowering kits are an easy install. thanks john
Mike, would love to finally see someone install one of these Bell Tech 2/4 kits on a 4wd with factory air suspension. I badly want to do this to my 15 longhorn and rid it of the air setup but don't even know the extra pieces I would require outside of the kit. Contrats on the channel, the house/shop and move. you've helped so many of us for so long with our Rams. Love living vicariously through you Sir. I bet I lowered 10+ 2wd Dakotas back in 'the day' 99-04 just like this. Keep up the great work!!
I have 2014 Ram RT, and seeing your progress really giving me ideas, mostly the headlights and lowering 👍👍💯💯
Just did this to my truck and this video helped a ton! Thank you, the results are awesome! Just gotta take it for alignment and she's good to go! I also put some air ride air bags in the rear (ones for a durango fit best for lowering). Thanks john! ❤
I looks just right at that height, everything you do is top notch attention to detail. You've given me inspiration with mine on this build. I will keep watching, thanks for all the videos and info. Looking at pics of a new belltech rear spring and looking at yours, if you count the coils it does appear they've been trimmed a couple. Would like mine to sit about there.
Man this look and the whole truck build is so sick! Watching a dream truck being built!
I was always told to tighten the panhard bushing once the truck was on the ground so it is not twisted. Looks awesome!!
That truck looks absolutely badass slammed like that! Thanks for the excellent tutorial on this mod!
Looks sick man but I'm biased I have pretty much the same truck!
I did this install on my R/T about a year ago, and when I got to installing the front shocks I ran into the issue you described but I didn't know I could just take off that cap so I'm still running the stocks in front.
Looks like I have a project this weekend!
Love the new drop! Looks so much better, especially with the 22 inch wheels!
Had a belltech kit on my tbss. Loved the price and the handling
I love this truck. You've done a great job with it so far.
Thanks brother
You always make this look so easy . I loved it .keep on keepin on my brother.
As always, excellent content and knowledge. Glad to see a two door version of what my crew will look like lowered. 🤟🏾
Thanks brother 💪
Looks awsome man, my 08 has a leaf spring setup and tow package. Looking to lower it in the future
2016 ram crew cab 2/4 belltech drop and love my truck but can’t wait for a upgraded shocker to be released. Currently running 305/40/22 with helper bags in the rear
Wow looks really good man🔥
If it was my only truck I would have left it at the stock height but it looks really good that way man thanks again and all from Northern California 👏 👍
I would love to see how it looks with a 17” drag pack. Build is coming along well bro!! Keep it up
Soon!!
It turned out perfect to me.
Love it!!! 2/4 is perfect on it!!!.
It will be one of the pimpest low rider trucks on the planet especially after the HELLCAT swap!! So sick brother!!!!
🤔🚫🧢🚙💨💯🌮
Nice job, looks good!
Great job on lowering the truck Jon. Looks awesome. Maybe I’m in the minority here but I think the 20” wheel’s from the eco diesel would look better on this truck. They would look better proportioned on the single cab truck. You would save some weight too. Less rotational mass. I hear those 22” wheels are pretty heavy.
Truck looks really good John
I have 22” wheels running 305 45 with the 2/4 bell tech drop. I asked the shop to cut an inch off the rear springs to make it look semi leveled but yours looks a lot more lowered than mine!
His are also cut ✂️
Looks great!
Looks great
Just traded in my 2014 ecodiesel that I had that 2/4 kit on with 24s.. got a 2018 1500 limited with the hemi, it has air suspension.. so need to figure that out how to get it lower safely.. that single cab looks awesome lowered!!
Ok, now do the intake!! 😁😜
I tell you what it does look like the Kota lowered like that looking awesome John!!!!
Looks good looks a little lower in the rear than mine with the same kit. I was able to get the front shocks in with the sheilds just had to jangle around with it.
I did this same mod! I miss my 12 Ram 1500 ST so much! Everyone who has the crew cabs btw the kit is different than this regular cab reg bed! check part numbers!
Yea, it setting way better now! Btw ordered my new engine from demon Proformance yesterday for the track hawk!
Awsome video 👍🏽🤘🏽
Great vid. Lil truck has come a way. Keep up the good work. What size tires are you running w/factory 22’s
Looks great!!!!!!! well done
Thanks james
Dude those headlight are so hard! They look like the new limited headlights. I like em a lot.
Nice job looks cool
Hey man I really enjoy your Ram videos. You have a lot of great advice! I have a 14 Laramie that's 2 wheel drive I was wondering if it would be possible to convert it to 4 wheel drive and how much work would be involved. Do you think it's possible to do or is it not worth my time and effort?
My 04 I did with Belltech drop leafs and the front was done with drop spindles...not coil springs. Why do they do it with coils now instead of drop spindles?
After doing 4 of these kits on 4th gens I’ve learned that putting shorted sway bar end links improved the ride and handling.
Is that for front or rear sway bar links?
@@KJ-wo2iy you want your sway bars to sit level. Most kits only come with end links for the rear.
@@michaelguillory3100 Ok Thanks 👍🏼
Hey John what is the best shocks and springs to get for the fourth gen ram 1500. Also looking to do a leveling kit as well
I put the same shocks on my Ram Daytona and had to sand and file the opening in the control arm to get the boot to fit through. Also, can you show the shock after it was installed? The two bolts on top of the shock kinda confused me. Thanks!
2/4 looks perfect. What size tire do you have on the 22s?
Love it! Wanna lower my 5th gen!
It does look fantastic 😻
Looks so damn good
Can you help - I own a roe viper gen 2 also but have cold start idle issues since Install - we have changed all sensors vacuum leak test etc all good - leads me to idle screws were played with. - what percentage is your Throttle position. Sensor at if you don’t mind sharing this it’s a good start for my adjustments - thanks for you help
This was a pretty good video. Your instructions were great. How was the drive after doing the installation? did you have to add any air bags for a smoother ride? if you added airbags did you do the install yourself?
Have a question, would this kit work with the 2021 ram 1500 classic single cab even though it like damn near identical to your truck?
Where did u get those red bump stoppers from?! Much appreciated, I wana do a 2/4 drop on my ram as well
What you do to correct the front negative camber? I want to do this in my truck but I dont wanna kill my tires.
Does this kit fit a V6 3.6 2wd quad cab all the kits i see say for 5.7
Core 4x4 rear control arms for the win! Stockers can't handle the juice!
Gotta 2012 ram single cab 1500 with 2/4 had the kit on for about 2 years now and the ride is trash I just recently bought some more bell tech street shocks but I don’t think that’s gonna solve the problem any advice on how to get a decent ride quality out of it ?
I like it man 🤙🏽 low key I want to lower my ram now, have you notice any cons in your every day driving tho ?
thats perfect!
I love the 2/4 drop on the Rams. I have a 2wd Ecodiesel and want to do a drop on it soo bad!
I wouldn’t do it to my daily ecodiesel since I use it for towing and daily driver but on this weekend truck I like it!
I don’t tow at all with my Ecodiesel, I have a Cummins for that. You still wouldn’t recommend a 2/4 drop on a daily truck?
I used a crowfoot on an extension for the upper bolt, was still a pain in the ass
looks great ..
Guys i have a 2018 ram 1500 2wd regular cab, i want to drop the rear 3 inches to level the truck, any suggestions or ways to do it ?
Loving all it ..
Hey do you still have to get it aligned with just this “spring” kit?
Yes, she looks good now
looks sharp
What air bags are you using with the 2-4 drop. Thanks
this drop looks good but on mine the back of the driver side sits higher than my passenger, would you happen to know what is causing that ?
Did the belltech come with the upgraded sway bar! I put the Inez 5 7 drop and it came with the sway bar
could you put a link for the new bump stops?
Good evening I know I'm kind of late with this question how does your blue ram rides with the relocation brackets on it and did it lower back anymore
Anyone know what happens if you dont replace oem bump stop? Cause mines hitting and every time i go over small bumps or bad roads it cluncks like crazy all my suspension is new was wonder if the cause is for not replacing that bump stop?
I wanna do mine but scared of the cut or no cutbrackets . I dont wanna loose my trans because its not right
Looks really good! something tells me the guy that had that kit cut a few coils cause my 2/4 kit doesn’t sit that low and don’t forget to check that cross member in front of the gas tank probably really close to the drive shaft.
Yup mine doesn’t sit this low either. I want it a little lower but I don’t wanna pay that much for the 4/6😂 and yes my driveshaft rubbed the crossmember when I first installed it
Same here. When I saw the video pop up on alerts, I thought it was a 5/7 drop. Good looking stance.
I double checked. No cut springs. What size wheels are you guys running cause these 22s fill the wheel wells more usually. They have 285/45-22 tires
Mine sits that low with the belltech 2/4 drop
@@BoostedMotorsports i have a friend on a 2/4 drop on some r/t 22’s and his doesn’t look nearly as low as yours, not calling you wrong but it looks awesome regardless
Blue calipers would look sick behind the R/T wheels 💯
💪
Fire. I want to do this to my 2020 big horn but im unsure what to purchase. Can you help me out?
Perfect
Is this set up the same for the hemi 4x4 regular cab?
Were did you purchase the front bumber??? Helpp
Where do you get the no cut relocation brackets?
Did u take a before and after measurement?
Anyone know if its true that you have to cut off a little bit of those 2/4 springs to get to a 3/5 drop?
Hey if anyone or you can help me out. The suggestion 4wd kit on Amazon says it doesn’t fit my truck. Do I ignore the message and proceed. I got ram 1500 4wd 2 door short box Express v8
How is the ride quality vs stock with pot holes and towing?
At least the bearings are super easy to change on the 2wd rams.
I don't know if it's a Ram thing but it seems like the left side wheel bearing always goes bad first, I had the same issue with mine, changed the left side wheel bearing about 2yrs ago.
Hey tahat was a good “vato loco” impersonation bud 😂🤣
🤣😂
So no sway issues with the relocation brackets?
Love it as you say that’s spicy boz
We only bring the spice 😈🤘
Nice. Bump stop link. ?
@BoostedMotorsports where did you get your bump stops at?
Like it the way it is
Did you have the rear sway bar?
How does those headlights work on the road at night??
Hey wats ip bro wats better spindles or just the lower spring
you thinking roll pan bumper on this baby too? would be legit to see that install
Is the front bumper a different color? Looks lighter
Where can I get those red bump stops ?
Dam John the thumbnail looked like the Kota!!!!!
What kind of tonneau cover is that?
what headlights are those?
What tire size did u have
