Luis Perez I can’t tell any difference from the stock ride. Roads here suck anyway, I’m on 275/55/20’s atm. Biggest change is it feels more planted, zero body roll in corners.
I still like the rake look to my 2016 sport 4×4...by lowering it kinda gets away from that is there anyway to both lower it with the rake look...without messing up the 4×4...
I'm about to order this kit for my 18 4x4 but have a few questions. How was the ball joint angle on the upper? Is it at an extreme angle? Also in the rear, why did you end up not using the notch that's provided? Again in the rear how good of a job did the panhard bar relocation bracket work? Did it center the rear axle or would an adjustable bar be recommended as well? Sorry for all the questions.
The track bar relocation worked great and we have no issues what so ever with control arm or ball joint angles. On this specific vehicle we did not have to use the bracket for cutting the frame to clear the drive shaft. This did not have to be done for an 18.
Hey Rustbelt Mechanic, I just got this kit and it talks about a mod for notching frame for drive shaft clearance. '13 Crew Cab version. It has a plate for insertion after notching frame. Did this apply to the kit you installed on the truck?
I'm curious, when you level a truck, do you readjust the headlights? Back down to factory settings or just let them shine into everyone's eyes. Most big 4x4's here in Texas get leveled, but the lights go straight out into the eyes of passing motorist and not down to the street like factory settings.
If I’ve got the exact same truck with 26” rims already will this fit? I’ve got 3.5” front and 5.5” back clearance now. Sounds like yes but 650$ and a few hours on the line would like to have an opinion from an installer
It does fit have it currently on my 2010 ram 1500 with 26” dub ballers. But should be cautious on how you drive because if you hit a big enough jump you might bottom out and rub onto your front fender
Hi I want to drop my ram but there are 2 shops that i called and they said that the truck isnt going to be 100% good . Reason becous of the aligment or something that the tires are going to waiste faster things like that . I know this is not original but it makes me think about it know . How much % do you recomend me so i can use this kit to drop my truck is it worth it after ? I want to have a desent lower truck and ride it good. Thanks
Contact Moes Performance on IG or the Website # and they’ll recommend the 2/4 drop with Viking shocks Pan hard bar sway bar and something else. But can’t remember what exactly. Contact them and you’ll get all the answers needing fast answers
Would have liked to see the whole thing on how you lowered it
Leo Mejia he showed you the parts on how it was lowered.
The suspension will probably be half an inch lower after you have driven the truck for a while. I just clicked on the subscribe button
Yep it’s also a great idea to check and retorque any new suspension hardware like this a few days after putting it on👍🏻
I spaced out during that intro and had to remember what I was watching when the video restarted
Some in channel vent shades, and different tips, that truck would really look good
It will need the Inez Bracket so it can be center from the back . Planning to get this bit from Moes Performance with Viking shocks .
How’d it go?
Death Squad I haven’t got the kit since I recently installed my headers and tune and it was expensive 😅
I just installed mine, used illict customs no cut brackets. Rear wheel is centered, no wobbles. Was a lot of drilling, but worth it.
Death Squad how does it ride for you?

My truck was done 18 years ago when I bought it brand new
Im old school and didn’t know they use struts now a days on trucks 😂
I see that lots of people are having problems with wobble on the rear with a 2/4 drop with that kit . What do you recommend to fix that.
Upgrade your rear shocks
I leveled my 13 Ram 1500 couple years ago, will I run into issues installing this kit? I don’t have any factory parts from before the level
I still like the rake look to my 2016 sport 4×4...by lowering it kinda gets away from that is there anyway to both lower it with the rake look...without messing up the 4×4...
Yes, you can buy 2 kits like a belltech 2in drop front n Mcgaughy or maxtrac 2in drop rear
When you got the alignment did you get camber right to spec.
is this bad for towing? cutting the frame like that?
WHAT GRILL IS THAT?
No issues when u lower a four wheel drive
Is there a Belteck kit for a Factory-installed Air system
Pretty truck. Nice video
What size wheels and tires do you use with the two Four drop

Haha thanks for the reply! Only took me 3 years to read your answers 😂🤦♂️.

Nope, totally ignored that for this year application.
@@RustbeltMechanic never had any clearance or rub issues?
Rick Francis nope he never did
@@RustbeltMechanic Thanks for your input. Then I will try this install. The notching of frame had me spooked.

It’s always good practice to readjust headlights accordingly
Does it ride better now ?

Hell nah I’m good
Hi, what size tire are you running on the truck when it was done?
would 24" rims rub with 2/4 drop 305/35/24
I'm about to get this done next weekend and will have the same setup. I'll let you know then.
Commenting cuz I have 22 and want 24s
@@jlopez8494 did ure tires rub and align good
@@jamesankney7535 should not rub I have the same kit with 24s and have no issues
Very helpful advice 👍😊 cool guys 👌
If i bought truck with a leveling kit can I buy this system to lower it or would I have too buy the stoxk parts then lower
No you would not need to buy any stock parts
I need this for my '10 1500 lift kits left and right so I want to lower
Do you know if i can use the same kit for my 2005 ram 1500?
What if i just want to level my 2014 Ram, can i just do the 4" drop in the back?
No. I tried it. Looks like it's doing g a weelie .

What is the part number for that kit?
965sp
I have a Bellteck 2" - 4" drop, rides too rough for me, could you recommend some great shicks?
Yeah.... so later on he ended up trying new shocks also...still rode too rough for what he wanted and ended up taking this kit off🤷♂️
Which headlights are those?
Turned out nice
I have a 2012 4x4 regular cab would this fit it as well? Or just 2wd?
This truck is 4wd
Okay okay thank you so it will work on a single cab as well then
Beautiful!
If I cut the springs to make it a 3/5 how bad would it ride?
Bad
Just buy a 3/5 drop kit from IHC
Good video kyle
Would this kit work with a 2019 Ram Classic Reg cab 4x4?
John Kvas I believe so its the same mode nothing has changed since 2013
Yes
What grill is on that truck?
He said just one he bought off amazon🤷♂️
I have a kit that I will not be using . Anyone interested?
Belltech moves the rear axle forward! 👎👎👎
Lowering a truck should be a crime.
It should be a crime to lift a 2wd truc🫡
Still a dodge
It’s a ram hater
