Mine is different.. my box didn't come with a straw, and the inner box was completely different. I solved it before watching this video, but I took a short cut on the gear vault side because I couldn't figure out how to find the combination, came here to find the true solution lol.
Idk why but firstly, my box has subtle differences and it didn't come with a straw. Second, I can't remove the "island" piece like that. I figured out the use for it but it's wedged in between some nooks so it can't be removed. And thirdly, I also cannot push down two of the crown side pieces that have the three nudges in them. I can freely adjust the ones with arrows next to them, but not the other two. (I already tried using a bit more force than thought necessary and the instructions also state that no use of force is necessary). So now I'm stuck bc the only puzzle I can do is the one with the torches but I can't do anything with it. so frustrating...
we have a few people say their puzzle looks to be slightly different than this one. the best thing would be to contact idventure and see if they can help you further.
@@leorenegade2103some people just like solving the thing, keeping their hands busy instead of solving the puzzles. I frequently solve a 3 by 3 rubiks despite having figured out how ages ago. Something satisfying about the fidgeting
Please help, i have the version without the straw, i solved it and as i was to put it back together, i was not abel to slide in the first part that you have to blow out, the lock is closed and i cant get it open
Just want to add that my insides also looked different. Also the web page failed to load. It autocorrected to the iventure website, so it is totally a functional link... just not to a functional page. Funnily enough, if you go to the German site, it works just fine. Thank you for the video, otherwise I would not have been able to reset the Box the box, as their website does not include instructions. (Or I should say, their reset instruction page got this particular puzzle is empty... In english AND German). Man verifying the solution and putting it back together was harder than the actual box XD
He did say it. Look through the key hole. There are sliders underneath with people pulling ropes.put the slider to where the people would pull it. Now if you look through the keyhole you will see the symbols in the holes on the other side. Now just match each hole to a gear by following the chains

We have 5 different puzzles from idventure. But only one version of each puzzle

Heres a tip that i used if your box did bot come with a straw use a straw from your home it works! hope this helps😄

You skipped over the whole reason I looked for a solution - how to decode the gear codes!
