Evening all! We’re kicking off 2024 resuming the Euro-trip with a few episodes in Sweden… I hope you enjoy the first one and thanks again for coming back week in week out last year! I’m currently traversing the rural wilderness of South Carolina, so if I’m a bit less involved in the comments section than usual you’ll have to let me off 😂 Cuddles, your old mate BMF 🙂

The thing that keeps bringing me back to your channel, is your genuine, kind demeanor. Sure wish more people in the world today, were as kind and polite as you are. I'm always happy when I watch your vids and read all the awesome comments. I would give that burger a go. But my thing is wings. I once ate 300 buffalo wings at a wedding in 32 minutes.

That's awesome. Just came to comment how great this guy is. He's enjoying himself so much watching. Seems like a great guy. If I'm ever in Sweden, I'm definitely dropping in. Now I know to get a dessert!

He was so happy, like a kid on x-mas! The best part is that I got happy, watching how happy he was! :D Mr Beards vids are just putting smile on peoples faces!
You can tell he created this challenge to admire the capabilities of the human mind and body. He was truly awestruck that you could devour so much in such a small amount of time. I would love to visit this bar and have a beer with my Swedish friend here. America is so damn big though I never have to leave, but if I did this bar would be on my list of places simply because of my man here. I love friendly and humble folks.
As a Swede, I have to say that this episode was fantastic. Everything from the surprised man on a bicycle, the enthusiastic chef, the 3 kilo challenge, the gorgeous t-shirt and the broken record. Well done, Adam!

Can we just appreciate the level of English from Scandinavian people? Coming from France myself, there's a lot to learn from their education system. Another great video Adam!
English classes start in first grade now here in Norway, but most kids game online also, so the proficiency level is higher than it was even when I started school in ‘91
nobody needs school to learn english or anything nowadays , the main problem of french people is the habit of waiting after the government to do everything for them
I mean, you French have a beautiful language. But we (France, Spain, Italy and German) suffer from all the same: everything was translated into our languages in the 80,90,0s, so there was never really a reason to learn English. Nowadays, it's luckily different and more and more people speak English. But it will still take 1 or 2 more generations to have the proper English baseline around Europe. Gotta respect the Scandinavians and Dutch for being ahead the curve!
That was all around a terrific experience. Meeting a random fan on the street who not only got his picture taken with you, but also helped you find the place. Cool little hole in the wall with terrific ambiance, and a chef who knows his dishes. He weighed everything in front of you, and sat there watching you enjoy his food and being surprised how well and quickly you put it away. And more than happy to give you what you earned, and even seemed like he knew you, offering dessert. Obviously at least a closet fan. Great vid and be safe out there!
you said it best in here. that was something i couldnt help but say "aw" at during multiple parts towards the end. the chefs absolute genuine curiousity and obvious love for his craft made it so wholesome at the end. he was so ready to see this happen just as a spectator as well as enjoy the concept of being someone making a true challenge of this all for Beard.
@@MickH60 what is wrong with my comment? I was just genuinely curious about the way he used the word "terrific' because it's quite unusual and standed out for me because english is not my native language :l and terrific "sounds" very similar to terrible and i got a bit confused. I guess i should've just googled it, i want to be clear that by no means I meant to be rude and i apologize for being so ingênuos.
@@Feuervix Ignore that guy, it was an honest question. Terrific probably used to mean terrible but nowadays it's usually used as the complete opposite. Here it meant something like "wonderful experience".
Jonas and Rost Bar deserves all the best. We're happy that you visited our favourite place. They can make them big and they definately make the tastiest burgers! 🍔
Thanks for pointing that out as I wasn't sure what song it was and sounded more like Chopperhead by Two Steps From Hell to me. Do you happen to know the exact name of the song btw? Much appreciated!
Haha, I thought it was from the Command and Conquer games! Talk about "drawing inspiration" from the game soundtrack, can't believe they didn't get sued considering how close it is. Even the little extra effects and noises are the same XD
The chef sitting there getting progressively more shocked was great! Great job as always, Beard. Stacks of good burgers are much better than stacks of pancakes in my humble opinion.

I love how the guy was so genuinely happy to pay you your winnings, and was enjoying watching you conquer the challenge so effortlessly. I am tripping about how fast you ate those
I love the fact that you met that nice man on the bike that actually struck up a conversation and gave you directions. That might put a dent in the stereotype of us swedes being closed off and silent.
It's the range of different people who enjoy his content though. You wouldn't have thought a middle aged Swede would be in to competitive eating, but here we are!
Such. A. Good. Video. Slammed the challenge, meeting the guy on the bike was so wholesome, and the chef was freaking out the whole time at how fast you were eating. Rad. Hahaha.
Hahaha the chef randomly bursting out laughing in awe makes this video. Also kudos to his love for his craft. The beef/fat mix and shape of those patties is clear evidence of someone who cares about what they do. The perfect melting of cheese… buttered brioche buns that look either made by him or a quality local bakery... Bacon is perfectly cooked… Looks like top notch burgers. 🤤
This was by far my favorite video, the chef was so wholesome and so funny and the guy on the bike was so happy to meet you what a great experience for them 😊
That chef will tell his grandkids about this one day. Especially if the record stands the test of time. What a genuinely nice man he was. And the way that other guy walked you to the place like he was showing his friend around town. Small town Europeans are genuinely some of the nicest folks I've meet in my travels.
That chef seems like a good guy, has a nice vibe to him. As always Beard is always so kind and genuine. I wonder too, if this was an "easier" challenge because it's so wet with all the grease.

This, hands down, has to be one of the best episodes you've done. Man the chef just admiring how much you’re eating and at such an amazing pace too is nice to see. As a chef you really make the food just to see people enjoy your food.
I feel you. I used to work at a burger bar, whenever someone chose like a weird combination or a big ass burger. I ALWAYS went behind the bar just to see them smile or that head tilt "Oh my god" movement. Best. Feeling. Ever. We used to have a regular come in and order a 5 patty burger. Our last day open, he came in and ordered a 20 patty burger. It was so awesome. Whole staff came out and clapped for him, and we comped his meal
Nothing is more infectious than watching others watch you, and the recognition you get from so many fans. Love your channel buddy. All the best in 2024!
Was it? Didn't recognise it, and I've seen them do it live! When he was giving his opening spiel, I thought, Europe! Clearly wrong, but then there they were a couple of minutes later with Rock The Night \m/
I like this guy soooo much. Like in the beginning when he told the older man to tell his wife hi (only because the man mentioned his wife first) and then immediately realized that saying that might sound a little creepy so he said "not in a weird way". ,much respect

Interesting, what is your definition of terrific?
@@Feuervix Maybe get a life ?
you said it best in here. that was something i couldnt help but say "aw" at during multiple parts towards the end. the chefs absolute genuine curiousity and obvious love for his craft made it so wholesome at the end. he was so ready to see this happen just as a spectator as well as enjoy the concept of being someone making a true challenge of this all for Beard.
The look of complete shock on the owner's face.... priceless.
Jonas and Rost Bar deserves all the best. We're happy that you visited our favourite place. They can make them big and they definately make the tastiest burgers! 🍔
Synd att inte er signatur fanns kvar att prova!
i love the surprise and happiness on his face, now i want to go
How much would that burger have cost if he failed?
@@jamooo If you have to ask, you can't afford it :)
love the vibe next time im in sweden im absolutely going out of my way to visit here
the look of pure suprise on the chef when you dusted the first two burgers under 10 mins was the best
He ate the first one in just under 3 minutes. And the second by 7 minutes.
Imagine scnd place seing this 😂

@@-______-______-why? Is the shop 3.5 hours away?
Love the conversations, the banter and respect between Beard and the Chef, the burgers look amazingly well made and tasty.
My heart sank when you said 'Abba' and my ears perked up when 'Refused' started playing instead! What a rollercoaster 😂
Thanks for pointing that out as I wasn't sure what song it was and sounded more like Chopperhead by Two Steps From Hell to me. Do you happen to know the exact name of the song btw?
Much appreciated!
@@Nyagro No problem and sure thing - the song is 'New Noise' from the album 'The Shape of Punk to Come'.
I knew I had heard the song before, but couldn't immediately recognize it.
Besides hè loses the pancake Challenges .
I think the chef was enjoying it as much as we do!
That chefs laugh is contagious, man. If i even travel to Sweden, I'm going to that restaurant.
GOD I love how wholesome Mr Beard is, just an absolute legend every time.

Chef was a ton of fun, quite enjoyed his sense of humor when preparing the meal. Fantastic video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
The chef expression was priceless as he was watching you. The guy on the bike could not believe he met you, he was so excited.
I love how scoffing food down, quickly, transcends through all languages. Shock, awe, and disbelief are the same in any language 😂😂😂
Love the chef guy. Has a good vibe about him.
As a swede, I'm happy to see you take on a challenge in my country. Excited to see more videos from your visit. Keep up the good job!

the childlike amazement of the chef made me smile. that was great. makes you proud of being a swede
Lmfaoo “I believe in you” I wish my mom said that to me when I was younger 🤣🤣🤣
That chef is amazing at his profession. The glee he gets when someone is enjoying his creation. It's the reason we do it. And damn do those burgers look orgasmic
“Is it getting hard?”
“Not really”
*Pure shock and enjoyment at Beard enjoying his masterpiece* 🤣🤙🏼
That “say hi to your wife….not in a weird way” made me spit my tea out 😅
Did it send you
Proper David brent moment 😂
This chef had one of the coolest vibes ever. The restaurant was boss and that t-shirt is one of the coolest I've seen you win.
I know a swedish woman who lives here in germany and she is one of the kindest and open people I know

he was great
No matter where this dude goes, folks know him. Baffling, and always wholesome.
It's the range of different people who enjoy his content though. You wouldn't have thought a middle aged Swede would be in to competitive eating, but here we are!
Why is everyone using the word ‘wholesome’ in the comments section
Stop saying fucking wholesome.
@@longtallshorty5791 are you ok Karen , no very wholesome of you
Such. A. Good.
Man you are so polite to your fans. Heart warming interaction with that sweet old man. You a legend beard.
The chefs face was priceless. He was in awe. As we all are seeing the beard at work. Great start to 2024. The dessert flex never gets old. Peace
Chef seems like a genuinely happy guy too. Great to see someone having a good time watching you eat without the idiotic comments
This whole vid is one of my faves. The amazed guy on the bike, the astounded looks of the chef and the fact there wasn't a dodgy mountain of chips!!
This was by far my favorite video, the chef was so wholesome and so funny and the guy on the bike was so happy to meet you what a great experience for them 😊
the fact that some guy riding his bike, just so happened to see the Beard in sweden. Plus the line my wife wouldnt believe him. pure gold.
Hi
shutup
Food and good people, that’s the point of life
How are you baby
those are the best looking burgers I saw on this channel, If I ever get a chance to go to Sweden again Rost bar is definitely on my list.
That chef was great. That smile on his face was both hilarious and adorable :)
Yess, he was so handsome
That chef will tell his grandkids about this one day. Especially if the record stands the test of time. What a genuinely nice man he was. And the way that other guy walked you to the place like he was showing his friend around town. Small town Europeans are genuinely some of the nicest folks I've meet in my travels.
I really like that they weigh this challenge before you do it. Upfront honesty and transparency is always good :)
I like that too!
Yeah! Not like Hardrock Cafe! 😂😂
I love how this one was beat the record instead of here eat this within this time limit. Great job Adam
I feel so sorry that the place was empty! the food looked great! hopefully more people show up at some different times. the chef was such a nice guy
He goes there way out of peak hours, so I wouldn’t worry too much! I’m sure it’ll be busier later in the day
Pretty much every time I've been there, it's been packed.
They opened up early for me, it’s normally heaving at night
It's a bar😂 hardly gonna be packed in the afternoon
@RepentandbelieveinJesusChrist_ Find another place to troll your nonsense.
That chef seems like a good guy, has a nice vibe to him. As always Beard is always so kind and genuine.
I wonder too, if this was an "easier" challenge because it's so wet with all the grease.
Right and he even telling Adam the weight as he builds the challenge pure honesty and I love it
This Chef is so cool.

Respect for the 3 kilos Mate 👍
How refreshing to see a burger challenge that doesn't have a mountain range of fries on the plate. Chef seemed like a top bloke too. Well done Beard.
This video is just too wholesome! The mam on the bike and the chef, too adorable in how they act and their genuine happiness 😊
This, hands down, has to be one of the best episodes you've done. The wholesome guy at the beginning who recognized you, the awesome rock music themed restaurant, the super enthusiastic chef, smashing the old record for a new one. And on top of it all, a sick ass t-shirt. Congrats Beard! Great way to start the new year ^_^
This is well be his best video to be honest.
Enjoyed it Beard, glad your still going strong!
Totally agree, my face started to hurt near the end and I realised I'd been smiling the whole time. Loved every bit of this and I needed it today, thanks Adam.
@@AlasdairThompson Haha my favorite part was when the chef asked him if he wanted dessert!

What a kind faced and lovable chef you had for this one! He is just so genuinely delighted to watch you smash his challenge.
He was in shock and awe. 😂
Beard actually showing what he can do for once, in this video.. I love how he's actually trying and devouring a challenge for once!
