Diners get 40 minutes in which to finish a huge mountain of chips, battered fish, four sides of your choice, four slices of buttered bread and two 330ml cans of fizzy pop! Finish it inside the time limit and you get a spot on the wall of fame and £10 off the cost of the meal (meaning it isn't free but you get a pretty solid meal for a fiver).

The melted spread on a (hot)chip buttie is lovely especially if the bread and chips soak a little of it up too! thin ketchup for taste, or looking at you both, dip it in one of your four sauces/sides...yummy!

My wife suffered a stroke a couple of years back and this year I've donated one of my kidneys to my son so I'm all in for charity and especially Stroke Association. Will be streaming Cheesecake until I drop. Thanks Beard and sis Beard and I wish you and of course Mrs. Beard all the best for 2023. Your channel helped me tremendously during my recovery from the transplant. Best wishes.

@@ahighlyobnoxiousadult well I watched a live stream video raise millions for charities which literally save peoples lives, Ive watched tik tok videos where people recognise they have symptoms of cancer and go to the doctor and they catch it before its terminal, again saving a life, Ive watched people who are depressed sharing their story and encouraging others who are in a similar situation to seek help rather than commit suicide, so yeah, a video 100% can save peoples lives.
The great thing about having your sister on is that she pretty much is showing what a normal person can eat beside you, and she's not obnoxious at all!! Definitely enjoy the comparison!!

Love that you're giving your donations to the stroke association, that's amazing 👏. I'm 22 and a carer for my mum who had a stroke in 2019 a month before my birthday. I'm glad she made a 70% recovery and even more happy she's still here with me. Love the videos, keep it up 👍👍

Huge props to you. So glad to hear that she made that much of a recovery. My brother is caring for his wife, and I for my mum. It's hard for people to understand the demands it makes and toll it takes, but the rewards of bonding more deeply with my mum and getting to spend years with her as an adult were precious. I hope you're getting support and taking care of yourself as well. Bright blessings to you both.
It warms the heart truly. A massive stroke took my mum this time last year. Just crumpled like she'd been shot whilst making blackberry jam.

I’ve got tears, after listening to your talk about stroke patients and would like to say I’m so sorry you have lost your Dad. I lost my dad 3 years ago & my mum 2 years ago. You are a gentleman, as they say you can’t judge a book by its cover. It really hit a spot with me & does have you thinking about life & how short it is & could be. Seeing them eat side-by-side puts our hero's outrageous ability into perspective. It's like watching a race between a hot hatchback and a WRC car. You don't realise just how insanely quick one is until you've got something 'normal' to compare it to.
Those fish and chips looked gorgeous, by the way, and the Dandelion & Burdock brings back some very happy childhood chippie memories. F&Cs + D&B: a perfect match.🙂

@@kimchi_b I’m a vascular neurologist and I’m with you 100% that the general public are sleeping on the impact of strokes. There are nearly 1.5 million stroke survivors in the United Kingdom, alone and they all need quality care and support, so much love to your dad.
On a slightly different and more positive note, how class is this chip shop? £15 for all that amazing food!!?! It’s about a tenner for fish and chip near me and they’re not as nice as that., so you’d be looking at nearly £60, rather than £15 and I live in the North East! 🤷♂️

Cheers Adam and Jenna from Kansas USA.I recently found your channel and really enjoy it.I watched a few of your videos before this one,but this is my favorte so far.First seeing Jenna,and first seeing the music side of you both.I am so sorry to hear about your dad.I am 68 and suffered a major stroke in 2020 when I was 64,and know how tough that is.After over two months in two different rehab hospitals,I can walk some,and can use my left hand a little,but not much.I lost feeling and movement in my entire left side,but I make the best of it.I live with two of my sons,as I am divorced,but am happy to be alive.I am a new sub to you,and will continue watching you,as youtube is what I watch most of the time,as I can't go out by myself.Thank you for all that you do,and I wish you and Jenna the very best.If you ever make it to Kansas,I can show you some great BBQ joints and steak houses.Cheers and God bless.
