In this Fasting Q&A episode, Megan Ramos answers some of your fasting questions:
    1. Do you have any tips for getting better sleep while fasting? (Rose from Edinburgh) [01:57]
    2. Is it possible to do a 10-day water fast without medical supervision? How long can one fast without needing medical supervision? (Maria from Toronto) [07:11]
    3. When fasting for 36-72 hours, the Quick Guides say to eat lunch and dinner the following day. Is this a requirement or a suggestion as I find it easier to eat OMAD at dinnertime after work. (Mable from Montreal) [08:53]
    4. My question is about fasting and constipation. How do I deal with it when skipping breakfast? (Lucilei from The Netherlands) [11:50]
    5. I am doing 36-42 hour therapeutic fasting three times a week to reverse T2D. Once I have done that, what should my maintenance routine be? (Don from British Columbia) [15:44]
    6. How do I balance staying adequately hydrated and not having to visit the washroom every one-two hours? I find it difficult to leave home as I constantly have to find the nearest washroom, but the worst is having to get up 3-4 times during the night and having interrupted sleep because of it. (Jane from Toronto) [18:09]

The 48 hr, 3 meals, 48hrs and then 2 meals Sat and Sun is a great protocol. Doing this now. I did the 42hr fasts before and it was actually more difficult. Less fasting but more fasting at a time is really good.
I take vitamins and minerals every day. I was losing hair during the 42hr protocol but none now. Great podcast.
I bought your last book, but these q and a are excellent for fine tuning

My problems are so small I am ashamed. I fasted for 3 days four months ago and 36 hours a week since. Drinking only moderate amounts of water. I don't "go" for like a couple of days after I start. Then back to normal. The horror stories I am hearing in the comments make me realize that not only am I ok but I also chose the simplest and nicest way to fast.

Hey, re pelvic floor, if you are in perimenopause or post menopause, lowering estrogen will cause weak pelvic floor/slack urethra. If you use eatrogen cream on the external ladyparts, issues with this and leaking will stop like magic. Studies show that wearing shapewear compression garments can also help here. I found this out by accident lol, it really helps. But estrogen cream is the best after 40.

So true. Age 64 started using .01% Estradiol cream. OMG ... a game changer. Just a few applications a week. I started because I was getting UTIs, which I have had only about 3 in my lifetime. The cream has helped in having less discomfort in all things down there.
