Cube World is a voxel-based action RPG with a focus on exploration. It takes place in a procedurally generated fantasy world made up entirely of cubes. Wolfram von Funck (Wollay) began developing the game in June 2011, and was later joined by his wife Sarah von Funck (Pixxie). An early alpha version of the game was released on July 2, 2013. Cube World Update is happening now! Beta access was available to Alpha owners starting September 23 2019 and full game was released on September 30th 2019

youre not odd, i understand how you can enjoy this game in your way. i kinda also like restarting some games but for me in cube world i never feel progress so i hate cube world.
i cant believe wollay played this and was okay with losing so much progress everytime you go to a new region.
Tbh I love the game so far. I like the new design as compared to the old one. You dont need to travel millions of biomes just to reach a good dungeon that drops good loot. Now every section of the map can be a new experience that drops good loot for that section without traveling and ignoring all the details of the game.
So happy to see someone complimenting the game rather than bashing it
game is great but wollay changed way to much from the way he promised us and how we like it in the prior version
Alot of people have said they enjoy it, but you can enjoy it and state the facts at the same time. Wollay has to update the game or soon enough even the people that enjoy it now will stop playing. The restart isnt my personal problem its just lacking content.

@@JayFadeAwayy if he disabled the old version of the game and this one goes belly up he going to be really screwed cuz many people prefer the first version of the game to the current one.
Hey, I have some tips for you... with the mage you can jump higher by pressing "Space" and then hold "Shift" quickly. When you are levitating you will drop fast, but if you press "Shift" a lot of times it's going to be like flying. Sorry about my english, i'm brazillian.

This game has a really nice looking map. It also feels too vibrant to my eyes. Anyone else have this issue?
When I get this game I will have to adjust the saturation as the colours are too saturated for my liking.
I'm the same with games. Start a ton but dont finish. I just enjoy the games. Definitely the minority with my friends.
Don’t get me wrong this game is very fun. I enjoy the game and will play it. THAT SAID, the blaring issues with this game standout so much that it over shadows the great content and changes made. I am a huge fan of cube world but this is a slap in the face for a release in comparison to the alpha build and just games in general. Wollay decided to reckon the best parts of the game to try something new and it didn’t work out.
Oh your one of those... don't worry I'm the same. Just still gonna wait till there's some patches. But props to you for liking the region locking system cause If I actually didn't refund it I would have never left a region
To each their own, right? I'm of the minority that like this progression system but I completely understand of the majority of the feedback too

If you spam the shift key while in mid-air (the key used to levitate), your gonna glide through the air without using any stamina, but its slower than using the hang glider

@@NoobSniper i learned that right after jumping mid way through hold the levitate button to go really high in the air and get to high up places, its really weird
i don't think there is any real hate towards this game, just disappointment to seeing a game that has so much potential.... but after 6 years of barely a word the development went way more sideways then forwards.
I don't believe anyone (atleast anyone who played the alpha) want's Wollay to quit. they just fear it.
People feel like Wollay and Pixxie worked on this game for 6 years...for a cash grab. It makes 0 sense lol
@@NoobSniper I haven't heard anyone say it's a cash grab...but as someone who bought the alpha 6 years ago, Wollay is by far the most frustrating game developer I've ever seen. He needs to get some thicker skin.
Cube World is awesome! I love the game in its current state.
water mage is so op, stand near ur Enemy spam left click and u heal yourself and never die if u have the right equipment

Try guardian warrior, I never had a struggle with anything even in beginning
As a mage you can levitate by jumping and pressing shift. Its pretty usefull you can jump from high places and levitate just before you hit the ground and not take any falldamage. Its also usefull for climing to mountains and trees and you can levitate on lava lake and not take any damage.
When u Levitate and press Mouse 1 or 2 u can Heal yaself or a Friend.
Hell yeah! Love the mage's diverse movement options! Horizontal teleport and vertical floating 🧙♂️
Love your attitude dude! I'd enjoy seeing you use a water mage for a bit. Mage is my favorite class too. The map icons have been off a bit for me as well.

I believe u can tp tougth the window in the caste, it worked in alpha.
You should give us info on each class and rank them from worst to best!! :)
I've got around 50 hours in the game. All classes are viable. There is no "best" class. They have very distinct playstyles, it's all up to how you want to play.
mmmm took me over 8 hours to find my glider. only actually found it using a mod to fly so i could fully scan the area in grid format.
whhhhhat? just look for tall rocks, it's really easy, you don't even have to move around, just look on the map and you will see tall rocks

in 2-3 other zones ive found it right away. but in the first zone is was really clustered
Wait.... you play a mage and don't use Jump -> Shift to just "fly" up structures? I can't help but moon hop around these days, it's so fun!

Don't ask me why, but I got a lot of plus gear (in one zone in coop) and my part of my starting gear was plus gear. I don't really care for plus gear, it isn't that slow without it. Just saying that I also play games until they are no fun anymore (except someone just wants to play it with me).
Well that's pretty lucky! Allows you to explore right away if another zone looks interesting 😁

Only for the classes that sprint. That would be the Ninja, the rogue alt class. And the scout, a ranger alt class.

i dont mind getting artifacts. i mind losing abilities and items everytime i go to a new area. i want to collect the artifacts once and then make my artifacts stats improve by going to the spots they tell you to in the quests. not so i have to keep getting the damn thing. also i does this mean my pets are always going to suck? cuz they get no equipment and cant lvl so do they just stay shitty?

I want to use Rogue as my next character. I always wanted to use the Wood Staff (aka laser beam of death) ever since Cube World Alpha; I couldn't pass up the opportunity to do that in full release 😜

no it isnt broken cuz you lose it all the next biome you go into.
It is becuase thats how you farm plus gear
@@childrenofthesun471 ah ok. but considering the scale of the game and the size of the map since each biome might as well be the side of 30 medium size minecraft biomes region lock needs to go. yes some people like it but most dont. really only 2 things need to change. 1 take out region lock and 2 bring back leveling. the other skills are nice too like for shinobi you had the shuiken. but yea the game isnt skill based anymore like it used to be. its grind gear until you can kill everything easier.

@@childrenofthesun471 and people keep trying to justify the whole + gear bit. i wouldnt mind if you could have it for i guess a full 5 -10 region radius but its only 1 region long. the second you get 1 region over you need to farm for another even if your holding a + gear. cuz its going to be useless the next region. the people who are justifying the trash game mechanics added most likely havent played more than 1 RPG in their life. no all people justify everything tho. some people love how the game is but fact is more people hate the game than the people who threw wally into his 6 year ghost. and wally wont change the game because of 2 things. 1 hes a perfectionist and 2 he wont listen to feedback negative or positive because he thinks his game is made the best. i mean 2 is tided in with 1 but i mean the whole him not listening to feeback as the main part of 2. hes a game designer so if he cant or worse wont listen to the people who play and buy his game then he should quit making games all together.
ima water mage and i struggle to beat bosses. a lot of the bosses 1 shot me even if im wearing all 5 star armor and using strong weapons
Water mage is pretty simple. 1. use bracelets. they do less damage, but they are fast. 2. stun the boss with right mouse button attack and hit him as long as he is stunned. 3. when stun is over, roll around using middle mouse button until the stars over the head disappears (about 2 rolls). 4. repeat until boss is dead. If you are getting hits, heal yourself.
I would like a feature where you can easily transfer the look of a piece of gear to another one. The one thing i hate is losing my cool looking gear! If im missing something and you can do this please let me know!
As far as I'm aware, I don't think this is possible but that would be really cool! Like an "infusion" system of sorts

Anyone able to help me? I launch the game but it doesn’t open properly, it’s just a white screen or a black screen with the music, then it crashes, any help? It’s been working fine for 2 days and now it just stopped working and idk why, any help?

Bit of both? It's the grind before getting overpowered that I love. I don't care to "steamroll" content, the struggle is the best part for me.

Diamond/pearl/platinum and black/white were pretty good
Also the legendary pokemons hunts in those games are also nice

New cube world is fire
Watermage is very powerful indeed, but I am playing the guardian and man, the start is so crappy, but when you get something decent is as great as te mage. Is just the start that is very hard. But then is like cheating.
Other thing, when I pass to another zone I found that my pet can kill even blue mobs, in the begining. In less than 5 min I had found yellow weapons and some decen gear. Is that normal?? I mean its broken.
Oh what? Your pet does proportional damage to your weapon. Did you happen to have a +gear weapon when going to different zone?
But yeah, the Guardian is hella strong once you get going!
Can just use mage to cheese all the gear and there you go all your classes are strong for that region.
