PREORDER This EPIC Game-changing Radio here: www.banggood.com/custlink/v3DF4ve3ZO! Finally one transmitter to replace them all! From now on there is no excuse to take multiple transmitters out with you when you go out bashing.. just take the ONE! What do you think? 💯😎👍
Im definitely getting one. The ability to use all brands of receivers of any RTR is great. All the channels is another bonus since I go crazy with lights.
Coming from the FPV Drone world, the 4in1 and now ELRS is about to change land RC's in so many amazing ways. EdgeTX let's you program in all kinds of amazing things too. I'll be switching all mine to ELRS for the redicilious range and solid control link. Thanks for pointing out the 4in1, now go get an ELRS module and receiver for it and give that a spin. Total game changer!. Thanks for the video. Cheers.
Great video! The ELRS protocol was designed partially with drone racers in mind so can be set up for ultra low latency, or ultra long range. also the EdgeTX operating system is amazingly flexible and like you said - it is being heavily used by quadcopter pilots already so there will be continual development for it for years to come. There is a bit of a learning curve to it, but there are always people willing to help if you get stuck on any social media platform.
I’ve always bought Spektrum receivers to use in all my RCs as hate having loads of remotes that I’ve got to find space for. This is certainly a fresh idea, that I’m surprised hasn’t been thought of before.
I believe it’s an industry first. Being able to support multiple protocols without being restricted to something like spektrum. I used to love my old Sanwa mx6 but only ever owned 2 receivers as they were quite expensive. The dumbo receivers are cheap and work wonderfully with this! This is definitely a cheaper route for people who are interested in running many models off of the one remote. 👍😎
I'll probably get this one at some point. Still very new to the hobby and happy with my DumboRC X6 transmitter for now. The MT12 will enable me to continue to use my DumboRC receivers (and I'll be able to continue to buy them since they are around 10€ a piece). Up until now I was looking at the new DumboRC DDF-350 or Radiolink RC6GS or even the FlySky NB4 for when I eventually want to upgrade my transmitter, but the Radiomaster MT12 looks really really great. And open source firmware is always a huge plus.
Hi Ricky looks great and worth the money for what it can do, but some of the other multi protocol devices have rubbish range. Would like to see a range test with the 4 in1, would be interesting to see if it matches the original control of different makes and models 🤔 . Another great video! Keep'm coming 👍🥰
What other multi-protocol surface controllers you are talking about? I wasn't aware of any others. If your talking air transmitters I have no problems with range on spektrum, frsky, fhss using jumper 4-in-1. It's all the same chips underneath.
Hi, I’m using 7ch radiolink receiver with gyro. Does the gyro still works with MT12? Also, can the gyro percentage also adjusted via one of the MT12 channel? Thanks
Nice test video. BTW, did u get it to work with MJX hyper go cars? I have a few and I got my MT12s yesterday but cant figure our which radio protocol it works with.
Word is that this radio doesn’t support the flysky type receivers that’s in FMS and HobbyPlus RCs. You see you have those brands in your video list. Have you tried to bind this with them?
Hi. How did you bind it to the Traxxas? Is there anything special you had to do? A lot of people say it doesnt work for traxxas. Or did you change out the receiver in the xmaxx? Thanks
Excellent radio. Im putting the max10 g2 140a g3 motor combo in my MT10 but not sure what motor to choose. Its 3665 size. 2400 4s, 3200 3s or the 4000 3s. Any ideas.
Yo, that's a sick setup you got there! The max10 g2 140a g3 motor combo sounds like a beast. As for the motor, I'd say go for the 4000/3200 3s and let that bad boy rip! But hey, it's all about personal preference ;)
@beyondRC I was thinking 3200 as I do a mixture of terrain and maybe going 3-4 teeth up on the pinion. I'm not sure if the 4000 would overheat offroad what you think. 2400 4s motor sounds great too but unsure as its a lower Kv. Want to get Vorteks speeds with the MT10 chassis as I love the centre diff lol
@jhue73 Got the hobbywing 3660 3200kv SL with 120A esc for £80 in the end. I'm on 15t pinion and it's gotta be 50mph+ but need a speed gps to test it. Temps say lower than stock motor on 12t pinion lol but i do have a fan on the motor now.
Use one transmitter with different receicer brand and type is the function i am looking for.Radiolink has function to monitor voltage of the car or boat to prevent run out the battery, does mt12 has this funtion?
We still talking about that haha!! thought it was old news now ;) It can be programmed to play custom sounds on a separate channel so could be setup to do stop, start and read :)
I ordered this remote when it first went on preorder.after watching this video I may of ordered the wrong one because I’m not sure I got the 4 in 1 and honestly don’t know the difference 🤦🏻♂️
@@beyondRC yes that’s why I didn’t know which one.i sent them a email to see if they could switch my order to the right one ,if not I’ll just have to order the module.thanks for the information it was very helpful
@@beyondRC btw I reached out to them yesterday after watching your video and they gladly switched my order over to the correct one😎thank you again and happy thanksgiving
If the 2 in 1 uses one of the 70 protocols then sure absolutely. All are different though and of course do the research first. Apparently it works with the wltoys 2in1’s 😎👍
mjx is an option on the list. Rlaarlo i will say yes as a lot of them use Dumbo receivers which will be 100% Compatible. I Run my AMX12 with this transmitter. IF not get a cheap X6f receiver and bind. Sorted
I come from an RC plane & quad background and then started tinkering with cars. I could never get over how crap all the TX's were. Even the good brands. The programming was pathetic. The lack of switches. The lack of telemetry. Etc. Ordered the 4-in-1 version as soon as it came out. Can't beat EdgeTx/OpenTx.
ATTENTION.. People should really always pull the batteries out and charge them using a proper dedicated charger whether it's a Lipo or the 18650's. It's a great way to either ruin the batteries, have explode etc when 𝙉𝙊𝙏 removed and charged as there's usually almost no safety when charging in the transmitter for voltage/overcharge short circuit protection... Always pull batteries folks..

Thanks for covering the 4in1. Can you confirm if it binds with the standard ARRMA spectrum DSMR receivers such as in the typhon?
Im definitely getting one. The ability to use all brands of receivers of any RTR is great. All the channels is another bonus since I go crazy with lights.
It is pretty special and not a bad price considering! 😎👍
Looks like it only works with the x6 model Dumbo receivers. Not the x10 which would be great because that’s their 10ch rx.

More than welcome! not sure why people have failed to mention one of the biggest selling points with this radio!

Yep got one on order for speed running. No more signal boosters and it promises low latency for turning it around.
the ELRS version?
@@beyondRC yea Elrs
Excellent video! That is one impressive transmitter. I need to go do my homework😊
Cheers bro 😎
That seems very nice, especially for price. Sure beats my plan to put dumborc x6fg receivers in every car I own...
Until something brakes and you wish you only needed to spend £30 on a new controller 😂
@@s.o.sSavage Yeah, but I'll still have original transmitters to fall back on...

Using it for drag racing is great. Does all the stuff of the expensive radios like the 10px for a fraction of the price

If it only had built in gyro control (for receiver internal gyros not stand alone units) it would be perfect.
Only thing missing ☹️
Depending on how well this radio does for Radio Master I wouldn’t be surprised if they made a receiver with one at some point.
@@beyondRCi got my x6fg rx gyro to work on the mt12 using the s1 knob to control ch8 so the gyro gain is adjustable too, works great.
Not surprised it works with Dumbo RC transmitter, it is made by Radiolink anyway.
It’s made by radiomaster but supports the radio link protocol 😎
So it's worth buying if it does work with most of the recievers, does it work with the traxxas recievers as well.
What protocol does DUMBORC use? Im having difficulty binding to my MT12
Radio link and dumbo should be a sub category once you select radio link 👌✔️
@@beyondRC Awesome, thank you very much 👌🏾
Great vid, quick question does this work full function with rlaarlo XTS-F10 LED control and all?
Should do as rlaarlo use rebranded dumbo recievers
What Flysky Protocols are supported?

Hi, do make a video to show if this 100mW 4in1 tx has similar or better range than the original DumboRc tx, cheers.

itll work the x6fg gyro on ch8. I used the s1 pot switch as the input source & inverted ch8 direction, so clockwise adds gyro gain
How do you get the MT12 to bind to x6f receivers please? What protocol is it

Most esc have auto cut off or low voltage protection so that isn’t required.
Does it has Seed ID function similar to Radiolink RC4GS

Yes but it's controlled on channel 8 when using the mt12 (dumbo x6fg to be specific)

Great concept but too big and too ugly. The Dumborc DDF350 is cheaper. Sure it will only bind to a Dumborc receiver but they are cheap as chips.
