Hi, there is a connection on the 10ch receiver, up right, B+B-. Just connect a lead from the battery into here all you will have telemetry on the TX. Note, up to 3S

Has anyone else got the problem of the steering trim jumping one way or another if it's not pretty much in the dead centre when you start to adjust it? Mine does that and it can be a pain! Epic radio otherwise. Wouldn't mind being able to adjust the steering dual rate quickly without moving end points though and i can't find a way to do that currently.
Can you really only connect a single pair of LEDs to the X10FG? That's a bit small, to say the least, isn't it? That's not even enough for the front light and rear light 🧐 I don't want additional switches. I also need all the other slots/channels. Couldn't I connect a total of 8 LEDs with 3 Y-cables (4x at the front (white) and 4x at the back (red) and then switch them on and off? That would be enough for me. Or is one slot on the receiver overloaded? Unfortunately I don't know anything about electricity, that's why I'm asking...

Please tell me, I bought DDF-350 equipment, how can I make the car first brake and then drive back? I connected the light module, and I don't like how the brake lights work, they turn on in reverse. Can I make the car brake and then go backwards when I press it again?
The brake option needs to be set in the ESC. The light module, if it's an advanced one it responds only when the throttle sticks is pushed backwards the first time, braking. The second one to reverse the car it shouldn't turn on.
@@hofsplace Yes, this is what happens in my light module: the first press of the trigger turns on the brake lights, and the second press the reverse lamp. But at the same time, the car itself only goes forward and backward, without an intermediate brake. It could be the speed controller itself.

hello, I was wondering if you can give me a helping hand, I bought the DDF-350 and can not get my winch to hook up properly, I have a warn winch with two wires red/black. As soon as I plug it into the channel 3 port, the winch automatically winds in without touching anything and won't stop until I unplug the winch from the receiver. What do I need to make the winch work properly with the controller and receiver.

There is two mode : mode 1 and mode 2 but i don't know what's the difference between the two. In fact, i want to limit the speed as you can in a car. @@hofsplace hello. I got an old firmware too. But i upgraded it by following a video on youtube. It was in Chinese but the trick is to activate the subtitles and choose English for the subs. I upgrade first to 1.0.9 and to 1.1.1 after that.
Make sure your transmitter is in the correct profile, you have 10 for different cars, and turn it off. Press the bind button until it flashes, turn on the transmitter, it should bind then. Try to steer a couple times to check
Very helpful video, answered a lot of my questions but how do you use the transmitter with multiple models and receivers? It looks as tho it has model memory so you don't lose specific settings for separate models but I don't know how to use it.

Yes, there are options for this. Go to Transmitter Settings, then scroll to the third page to get to the Backlight options. I have my screen set to turn off after 3 mins of inactivity, and my screen is dimmed to 50%.

You can currently only set the throttle limit using the Throttle End Point option, but you'll have to play with the throttle trim to minimize the throttle/trigger delay.

You didn't answer why it's JUNK. You can't even mix ch3-12 with ANY of channels 1 or 2. Meaning you cannot mix 4 wheel steering and cannot mix two throttle channels for dual motors. Pathetic tech right there!!!
Not on my dumbo350.... it only offered mix of 3-10. Maybe I got old firmware version? I searched every single menu page for mix capability. There was NO MIXING for channel 1 and 2 whatsoever to channel 3-10 !!

The percentage is for the battery of the Transmitter. In the top right corner you'll find the TX battery voltage

That depends on the light module you're going to use. Some have this option, other not. You can use a switch on the RX, set it into 'inching'

Depending on the receiver, there is a way to get extended range from channel 1. I know that works on the X6F(G) receiver.

But you can turn the transmitter off... These days the receivers should have a fail safe 😉
There is a padlock icon in bottom right of screen but I think it's just to lock screen input and not trigger.

How do you change the steering dual rate
Somehow there's no dual rate, only the end-points and sup-trim. The end-points can probably be used for the dual rate

excellent radio, too bad it doesn't have direct trim buttons but you have to enter the menu every time, I would have done without the buttons for the various channels but at least have the steering trim
Om the home screen you can adjust throttle and steering
My only real complaint with this radio is the trigger is too soft, needs a stronger spring.

You didn't answer why it's JUNK. You can't even mix ch3-12 with ANY of channels 1 or 2. Meaning you cannot mix 4 wheel steering and cannot mix two throttle channels for dual motors. Pathetic tech right there!!!
You're wrong! You can mix any channel with any channel. Go to 'model menu', page 7, here you can mix everything you would like
Not on my dumbo350.... it only offered mix of 3-10. Maybe I got old firmware version? I searched every single menu page for mix capability. There was NO MIXING for channel 1 and 2 whatsoever to channel 3-10 !!
@@Idontdohandles mixing 1 & 2 is done in the Tank mode.
All the others can be mixed. Try to update the firmware

@@hofsplace I received one and on channel 1 there is always oscillation from the servo. Maybe it is a defect or I thought it has something tot do with the gyro- option.

You have to use a Y cable on Ch1 of the receiver. Or set the rear steer to Ch7 on the remote.
