Jesus reminds is not to fear those who can kill the body, but rather fear the One who can destroy both body & soul in Hell. The soul is eternal. We've gone through several lifetimes now! Reincarnation was removed from the Bible by Emperor Justinian in 553 AD. That would not have been a logistical nightmare because most people didn't even read or write in those days. The Bible as assembled by the Church was done in the 4th century so it's not like it was everywhere.

Jesus reminded the Jews that they couldn't have a monopoly on God. He told the Hindu Brahmins they had to be kind to lower castes, especially the lowest & that angered them. I agree with you wholeheartedly: it's insufferable to see Jewish converts giving scandal to Jews and Catholics by continuing to call themselves Jewish; to pose as "still chosen"; playing "anti-semitism crusader," etc., rather than being just humbled and contrite as hell to be at the foot of the Cross of salvation. Conversely, however, for some rad-Caths (I love 'em!), it'll never be sufficient proof of catholicity until I verily am obliged to exsanguinate all of my 'Hebrew blood' and to get a gentile transfusion! (NB: Although I cease to be a Jew upon baptism - thank Christ! - I remain n/less always an ethnic ashkenazi Hebrew, but this ends with me) It's all part of the drama of salvation, and in charity and good humour I take the jibes and the heat, much better than most - if only to set an example. I think they were forced to convert in Spain. I think many converts have attachments to what they used to like. I have an issue with ex-Protestants saying their churches loved The Bible, yet they cherry picked, if they were educated or interested enough to read it and still believe the opposite of things Christ said in no uncertain terms. Others say they are Schola Scriptura, but read not protected books by authors or say they can understand Scripture, but send someone to a seminary of theirs to tell them what it says. It’s great to have Hispanics and Blacks in, but there are rubrics for worship, which some white priests (usually Boomers) will break to keep them coming.This would happen at a specified Novus Ordo Mass (Latin Masses might have the Spanish/Latin missal fro. The 80s Ecclesia Dei Commission, but they might get the idea of more of those words than we do). Some, with false humility, will tell us to say “Amen” if we agree; others will have “Mariachi Masses”. These are probably not done at the request of the minority members, though. Some might feel we are looking at them funny. Some might think their coming will bring in gimmicks, but I think most are curious by the unusual-looking family, but happy they are interested. I am not sure how Jews would bring outdated Jewish thinking or ways to its evolved form, which is and always will be Catholicism under the see of Peter. Some non-Jewish Christians want Seder meals, though I think those were originally done in anticipation of the Savior, if I heard correctly. In any case, I think the Judeo-Catholic style of worship up to the ‘60s was the best use of God’s gifts given to make such works of liturgy, art, architecture and music of any culture, but no other ancient faith ordinarily includes silly behaviors in their worship like we have done since the changes last century.

If the outcast is a woman, her children are still Jews. If all Israel will be saved, the Jewish nation must still exist as such.

Judaism of today is traced back to Yohana ben Zakkai and his followers who codified it in 90AD. So ironically it is later than Christianity historically speaking. Zakkai cherry-picked Old Testament Scripture to form a new religion for his people (think of Aaron and the Golden Calf) as Herod's Temple had been devastated by Rome (by the will of God) and the sacrificial system was forever done away with just as Jesus Christ had prophesied its destruction. On his deathbed Zakkai was terrified at the thought of meeting his Maker for what he had done. He died in uncertainty and terror surrounded by his adoring disciples. Contrast St. Paul who spent his last days in a dungeon - possibly all alone- awaiting his punishment which was decapitation. St. Paul died having finished his race of faith and he confidently knew who was waiting to greet him on the other side with these words, "Well done... my good and faithful servant enter into the glory of your Lord."

The Mass was celebrated at the Last Supper when Jesus instituted the Holy Eucharist in remembrance of His Passover Sacrifice. The New Covenant took effect when the Temple curtain was torn in two. That's from Character #23 in the Taoist Book of Change, Yi Khing, which preceded our Bible. St. Luke, a healer who was obviously well versed in Taoism, described it all in Chapter 23 of his Gospel. There are so many obvious correlations between Taoism & Christianity that the more you look, the more you find.

Some non-Jewish Christians want Seder meals, though I think those were originally done in anticipation of the Savior, if I heard correctly. In any case, I think the Judeo-Catholic style of worship up to the ‘60s was the best use of God’s gifts given to make such works of liturgy, art, architecture and music of any culture, but no other ancient faith ordinarily includes silly behaviors in their worship like we have done since the changes last century.

When the Jews were cut off, they were cut off. If they are cut off, they do not have the same status of being chosen as they had before. Being cut off means everything it implies.
Eve was predestined to eventually be reconciled to God. But she was not reconciled until she was, through the merits of Christ.

It doesn't mean that the outcast becomes a Gentile so as to be no longer Jewish. If the outcast is a woman, her children are still Jews.
If all Israel will be saved, the Jewish nation must still exist as such.

Judaism of today is traced back to Yohana ben Zakkai and his followers who codified it in 90AD. So ironically it is later than Christianity historically speaking. Zakkai cherry-picked Old Testament Scripture to form a new religion for his people (think of Aaron and the Golden Calf) as Herod's Temple had been devastated by Rome (by the will of God) and the sacrificial system was forever done away with just as Jesus Christ had prophesied its destruction.
On his deathbed Zakkai was terrified at the thought of meeting his Maker for what he had done. He died in uncertainty and terror surrounded by his adoring disciples. Contrast St. Paul who spent his last days in a dungeon - possibly all alone- awaiting his punishment which was decapitation. St. Paul died having finished his race of faith and he confidently knew who was waiting to greet him on the other side with these words, "Well done... my good and faithful servant enter into the glory of your Lord."

The Talmud is not a book of doctrines and dogmas that you gave to believe in, in Rabbinic Judaism. The original church was Jewish. Until the year 128 AD it celebrated Passover. After the gentile Christians persecuted the Jewish Church it replaced Passover with the unbiblical Mass.

The Mass was celebrated at the Last Supper when Jesus instituted the Holy Eucharist in remembrance of His Passover Sacrifice. The New Covenant took effect when the Temple curtain was torn in two. That's from Character #23 in the Taoist Book of Change, Yi Khing, which preceded our Bible. St. Luke, a healer who was obviously well versed in Taoism, described it all in Chapter 23 of his Gospel.
There are so many obvious correlations between Taoism & Christianity that the more you look, the more you find.
