I remember playing Plutonia when I was about 14-15, and the amount of frustration I feel right now pales in comparison to the amount of failed tries that you've more than likely attempted, the route planning, the timing. All of that seems insignificant to the amount of workload needed to get this just right.
The amount of ridiculously hard tricks in a single run is mind-boggling. I'd love to see commentary video versions on some of these longer runs, explaining some of the linedef skips etc so us noobs don't miss out on the more subtle ones!

There is something magic about these classic Doom games - killing demons doesn't feel so cozy, relaxing and cool in the same time in the modern games 😅 It's a pleasure to watch you in action. Nightmare difficulty is insane and even Ultra-Violence can be unforgiven for many. Respect! 😎

I finished UV Fast Plutonia yesterday after about a month and a half. Seeing a significantly harder version go before my eyes in about the same amount of time as my successful Speed attempt is just feels surreal, and I wonder how much grinding and practicing was involved. For me, the hardest level was Speed, which I was stuck on for about a week and a half just to make 34 minutes of a successful attempt that was very cautious. Any Nightmare speedrun is insane, but I guess that I found this one at the right time.
Slogging through these final Doom wads it has to be the most thankless task imaginable. I'm just not a fan of the design of any of them. So difficult too. Truly amazing work.
It's crazy how ZM just breezes through all of the cursed areas. My gameplay of Plutionia is just a series of expletives aimed at the WAD authors whenever I am stuck reloading for the 30th time in one location.
