Hey Zero Master, I just wanted to say thank you for creating and sharing your Doom content with us. I just got home after my friend's funeral service today. He was 39 years old and finally lost his eight-year battle with cancer. Eric and I used to play Doom growing up: Doom 1, Doom 2, and the various expansions for them. We played lots of different games. It was a "golden time" growing up in the age of personal computers with many game companies and titles. Same with consoles, too. Anyways, watching this at my desktop brings me great peace after another long day going through this process. You are truly a master of the Doom games, and your playing is a form of artwork. It provides great entertainment. You may play for competition, but it's really about your passion and joy. Thank you for what you do. It's bigger than you think.
Well, it took JCD more than 2000 attempts to complete Plutonia 100% on nightmare. It took Zero Master only 2 weeks to cut 8 minutes from an already unbelievable record. Another huge achievement for the greatest player of all time!
Idk, I hate the music but have to admit that they managed to make 1 soundtrack work somewhat because I recognize what clips they start on the beginning of the lv, it's just various doom 2 tracks thrown together on 1 track I think, so it's better than no music, but it's still the grandest turn off on ps1 final doom, I didn't even want to play to the 2nd lv in plutonia yet.
@@MrGarthboy You're far from the only one that is disappointed by the lack of music. That's why the community made a custom music pack a long time ago called plutmidi (ZM is using it in this video too)
@@Phytolizer I think I was more disappointed in my health and state of perspective while playing, I often wonder if they designed the game to make fun of me or something when I play, but at least I don't know all the levels still, that's a bonus.
@@MrGarthboy Theyre hard levels. Maybe not to the people that have been playing the game for decades, but Plutonia is for people that really want to git gud. There are definitely levels where they're playing with you but for the most part they're presenting an honest challenge, it seems to me like they spike encounters with chaingunners and archviles because they found it funny or something :P
@@Phytolizer I actually think about stuff like does the level design actually mean something personal on like a future telling sense, like did they watch me personally play I before I did, an it messes with me some, the difficulty levels fine I'm a decent player.
When i was 13, The Plutonia Experiment was my go to iwad. It's a throw back watching this, reminds me how good that wad was for it's time. Very creepy vibes, survival horror at it's finest. Great job zeromaster for another great record

You even exited map 09 with a lot of health :) I didn't know your route but it seems to be the safiest way to deal with this dreadful map. Human brains usually reach certain frequencies, I am pretty sure, without a EEG, that your brain was reaching Gamma or even hyper Gamma at moments of this run, holy f***. Congrats on the WR!.
Hey Zero, you are my favorite Doom Speedrunner of all time, you are an absolute legend, keep being amazing :) Have you thought on doing an UV-Max run of TNT? Only 3 records have being recorded and I think it can be optimized. Not sure if it's in your plans.
If I'll ever do a uv max full run it would have to be plutonia first, if that happens then anything is possible I guess. But I'm not sure if that will happen either, so not very likely unfortunately :)

We've been doing well with movie runs lately. Nm100s movies from you for both parts of Final Doom and UV Fast movies from Tatsurd as well as UV Max movies through Memento Mori II and Requiem Doom II needs a new UV Fast movie, the old record does need updating considering recent achievements
What's the logic behind the endless hell knight killing and strafing around the cyberdemons in Cyberden? Also, I'd love to see Zero Master beat Tyrian 2000 on Lord of the Game difficulty.
You made Caughtyard and Hunted look like an absolute joke, like everyone complains about how unfair the start of caughtyard is, and how frustrating the archvile maze is.
I had Win 95 in 1996 and played Doom I & II. This Final Doom I don't remember playing. Who remembers game called Heretic? I beat the whole game with Thou Art Smite Meister difficulty. Then there was fun puzzle-game called Supaplex.
Honestly thought you were showing off at first on map 31. I was like “look at Zero, choosing to dance with 4 cybers…” Then it dawned on me, no, I’m just a noob idiot and sometimes forget you are extremely tactical with your plan and you did it on purpose to avoid fighting respawners.
Can someone tell the robotics company that they got one of their experiments on the loose and is now completing Doom's hardest difficulties without a sweat
