  • California contractor Robert Pendergrast watched on a neighbor’s surveillance camera as his pickup truck was stolen. Lucky for him, he had an Apple Air Tag in the trunk. The Christmas gift came in handy, as it showed Pendergrast the exact location of his truck, in real time. Minutes later, he was in hot pursuit. He called the police and gave them a running blow-by-blow account of his truck’s whereabouts.

Because most of the time the cops will tell you to stop chasing them but when you do they get away and the cops do nothing to help. A lot of the time that is. It’s your right to protect your property and often necessary to do it yourself in getting it back in any way you can.

My daughter has one. And when she went to a car wash, the workers vacuumed her device. When she got home, she noticed it said that it was still at the car wash. So she went back there to see if she could find it. The workers searched the vacuums and didn't find it, so she pressed the alarm, and it began to ring. It was ringing inside one of the female workers purse. 😲 Come to find out, they let the workers take home the garbage bags, which may contain change, jewelry, and other items of value. After that, she bought me one for my birthday. And I have it in my car for just in case also. But I double side tape mine in an out of sight area of my car, so I won't have that problem.

Sometimes your vehicle is only thing holding you life together. Without it, you may have no job and no easy way to get the things you need, or worse - no backup place to live.
    *"Let the cops handle it"*
You would pretty much 100% guarantee yourself you would never see the car again or have the suspect arrested. Police WILL NOT waste resources on your under 20,000$ vehicle. The suspect would be released next day thanks to democratic criminal policies.
*"Just go get it the next day, it has an airtag!"*
Within 48 hours, your vehicle is painted a different colour, has new VIN numbers added, and is in not in your area by a long shot. By the next day - your vehicle could be completely unrecognizable even if you saw it. Even with the airtag somehow still in it. you'd have a really hard case saying that is your vehicle.

"Cops warn of the dangers of chasing down your stolen property" yeah, you might actually get it back. When I was stationed in Miami, one of my soldiers had his car stolen, so he kept calling the police to tell them where it was based on the charges on his sunpass. They kept telling him they were going to look into it, and finally he called when he found the vehicle itself. They towed it and took the plates off while "collecting evidence", and then gave him a ticket for driving without a license plate the minute he pulled off the tow lot. His plates were out of state, were going to take like 10 days to be replaced, and they were charging him insane amounts by the day for parking it there.

QUESTION: Will you go to Heaven when you die? Have you lied, stolen, used God’s name in vain, or lusted (which Jesus said was adultery, Mt. 5:28)? If so, God sees you as a liar, thief, blasphemer, and adulterer at heart. If you die in your sins, you will end up in a terrible place called Hell. But there's good news. Though we broke God's Law, Jesus paid the fine by dying on the cross: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (Jn. 3:16). Then Jesus rose from the dead and was seen by hundreds of eyewitnesses. He fulfilled all the prophecies of the promised Savior. Please, today, repent and trust Jesus, and God will forgive you and grant you the gift of eternal life (Eph. 2:8,9). Then, to show your gratitude, read the Bible daily and obey it, join a Christian church, and be baptized.

At first I was like who leaves an AirTag inside a car attached to nothing?
Then at the end they say “San Jose California”.
    Makes perfect sense

When I bought my 2023 F-250 a few months ago, the lady was telling me about the “Ford Pass” app. She said one of the perks was that if my trick was stolen, I could give the police access to the app so they could find it. I told her if my truck is stolen, I’ll go to it myself.
