Good morning everyone, welcome to this energizing 10 minute morning yoga stretch which is great for all levels. No props are needed and we'll try to work on the entire body with stretching, strengthening and balancing poses. This is a great opportunity to set the tone and the intention for the day ahead.
This 10 minute yoga class is great to do when you've just gotten out of bed. I also snuck in a bit of strengthening yoga poses in here to give you the boost of energy you need most in the early hours of the day. This is a full body morning yoga stretch that will target all the aches and pains you may have accumulated during the night. If you have flexibility goals, this is a great class to do on a regular basis to improve hip and hamstring mobility as well as deeper backbends and shoulder flexibility. Enjoy!

Love love love the 10 min yoga!!!! Can you suggest some videos that are easy on the knees...? Since starting yoga I’ve loved the energy I feel after but it seems to be irritating my knee arthritis a bit. I’d love to continue with some knee friendly stuff!

After a hectic month of taking care of sick family, today is the start of normal, regular, quiet days and after so long in stress mode, I don’t know what to do with all this “free time”, so I want to enjoy the calmness again and have smooth days. I had been doing your 10 minute morning yoga classes before work for the past few months. The last couple of weeks I had really been in a rut and I stopped doing them. At the end of this practice I actually got emotional because it felt so good to just take this time for myself again. Fun morning flow! I love how you always make each routine different and unique.
My word today is "grounded". Thank you Kassandra for your amazing videos. I love starting my day with your guidance and expertise. I really appreciate your encouragement for modifying poses as needed; I never feel any pressure to conform to something that doesn't work for my body. Also, as a transplanted Canadian living in the US, it is really wonderful to hear your Canadian accent. The three oms at the end gave me some time to really internalize my practice.
Still can't do toe squats, can't sit on my knees cos of a long standing injury but still love these short morning sessions. My word 'determination' 👍
My word is methodical. I have lots I want to get done this morning, so I can enjoy the sun this afternoon. I so often get sidetracked and waste time!

The word I chose was free to have some more freedom today and to not let anyone or anything get in the way. I love your videos especially the affirmation videos as well! Keep on making these awesome short videos for the morning and night because they work. You just need to trust the process and listen.

Thank you so much for this! I truly love the extra moment at the end to chant and reflect. I chose "healthy" as my affirmation to encompass physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. During the oms, I said "I am healthy," "I am wealthy," and "I am manifesting my own energy."
Side note: TIL not to put lotion on then immediately hit the mat. It makes those downward dogs extra challenging!

Love these so so much. Your quick and calming yoga videos are wonderful and so very easy to follow. I have sever ADHD. I run from routines, even when I try REALLY HARD not too. Your calm and empowering voice and choice of words helps me to start my day mindfully. Ive begun “cognitive behavioral therapy” for my ADHD. I am able to follow along first thing in the morning, without any Rx on board. That my dear, is truly astounding to me👏🏽👏🏽
