I had high expectations about Citroen when first heard about the company from a malayalam youtube channel 'talking cars'. I was wondered about the comfort factor and had very high hopes.instead ,what they launched was a car primitive than our 13yr old santro. Comfort may be good,engine may be good,but how can someone miss on basic segment standards? For someone who hates features, there's always a base variant ,which is the same car with less tech inside. But what about some one who wants tech?they launched shine variant with a few features addition,but again ,they seriously lack a proper market study( i am not a hater,had high hopes ,but disappointed..just like for tata cars,no proper qc checks and service)
They are not making cars for you who wants features. They are making cars for people to enjoy driving a car for what it is and have comfortable journey and not waste money on unnecessary things called features.. Plain and simple.

I have 2001 Santro still running fine which has this old style door handles but no one bothers about it when they sit inside. Halogen headlight is better in rain compared to Led headlights. Below 10Lakhs none of the cars have C3's drivability, comfort or performance. What do you prefer ?
In your other drag race video, fronx took around 17.11 seconds for quarter mile. Although it is from a different segment, it's hard the believe it is quicker than the 1.0 tsi engine of Taigun. Can you please do a drag race between an i20 nline manual vs Fronx turbo manual? :)

M sure the 1.0 TSI will have a better top end, but suzuki's boosterjet is pretty quick for its modest power figures. Other than the comparatively lower weight of fronx, I think it's their 48V mild hybrid system (with torque assist) that's responsible for the peppy nature of fronx.

The present 2024 engine has a timing chain, compared to the dreaded timing belt in engine oil of last year. These timing-belt in engine oil series of engines are being recalled all over Europe. Pity the early adopters who have the belt in oil engines, which are known for catastrophic engine failure due to clogging of the oil strainer by disintegrating parts of the timing belt. Remember rubber and oil do not mix, including nitrile, neoprene and fluorine infused timing belts.

C3 Turbo hatchback(10L on-road) costing 4-6Lakhs less than Taigun(14.5L or 16L onroad) finishes race in 16.842sec as tested by Autocar whereas Taigun took 17.4s best time. C3 Turbo has more space, better suspension, costs less, 19kmpl mileage, better AC - all compared to Taigun.

Anyway, if you are going to pay 6Lkhs more for an inferior car for travelling(not about driving) where your family is not comfortable (due to less space, stiff suspension), then U need to reconsider your decisions if you care about ur family.
@@mageshmac4716 I've owned multiple German cars and I've also driven the c3, if you really think the c3 even comes close to the taigun in terms of quality then I'm sorry to say this but you don't really know a lot about cars. Citroen isn't giving any importance to us(Indians) they're launching a car with absolutely basic features at a very low price, just because the Indian market is very price sensitive. The ride and handling balance is good, what you're getting is a car which shouldn't cost more than 7 lakhs on the road. And as far as safety goes, a Tiago can have 5 stars but it's the active safety features which make the difference. The structural rigidity of the chassis and the platform matters. C3 isn't as sturdy as a Tiago and I don't think you compare it to a taigun. So clearly I wouldn't mind paying 2 lakhs more for the base variant of a taigun over the c3. It handles better, it's safe and it's a car which is at least 2 notches above the c3. So I don't you tell me if I care about my family or not. I know what I need and I know how to look after my family.

Fronx turbo despite making 20 bhp and 30 nm less is quicker than taigun in 0-100 and quarter mile. Does it mean the 1.0 boosterjet engine of Suzuki is better than 1.0 tsi engine of VW/Skoda? Of course fronx is lighter, but if you compare power/weight ratio, the difference isn't that much.
I don't understand why drag races are to be done/shown/ popularized for cars in India. It isn't required as there is no race on the roads, and can drive long term behavioural change towards driving faster and hence is unsafe for everyone.

Don't worry new features like auto ac, flip key, folding orvm, leather Seats, led lights & much more coming in may 2024 and facelift coming in 2025

Yes, the turbo variants are worth buying, but they likely have skimped on the integrity of certain suspension parts, to keep costs down.
