Taigun wins when the engine + gearbox combo is detuned to give linear performance, better fuel efficiency and to protect the DQ200 DSG. Imagine if it had a better OEM tune to extract the full potential of the drivetrain!!
9.5 vs 9.7 sec. Creta/seltos gives decent performance while being excellent family cars thus justifying it's price while sub compact suv's get more features than kushaq/taigun.
When the taigun launched, i hated it and most of it cos of the chrome. The new GT line however is much more in line with my taste and i might consider upgrading from my ageing polo❤
Funny thing is, on highway there was a kushaq 1.5 top model chasing/driving really fast and suddenly over took me since he came from nowhere. In 2 mins he got stuck in traffic and i caught him. We both overtook 2 lorries who were going parallel and I was behind him. I knew he was on full pedal because i was also on full pedal. I overtook the kushaq with breeze in my 13yr old car with a manual 😂. Oh i forgot, i was in the skoda yeti 2.0L TDI 140bhp 320nm and i literally smoked the kushaq automatic 😂.
2.0 Tdi just cant catchup 1.5 tsi, unless it's plonked in a small polo. The perfomance diffence is that big. Fun fact: Renault fluence with 1.5 110bhp k9k diesel engine had better ingear acceleration than the skoda 2.0 tdi sedans of that time. You can find it youtube. I am not meaning 2.0 tdi lacks perfomance or is lesser than a 1.5 diesel, but its more close a smaller low perforning diesels than a 1.5 turbo petrol.
If your expectation is quality, reliability, inspiring confidence and safety then go for VW or Škoda cars If your expectation is big size and fancy features then go for Creta I had an i20 before - after 5 years my quarterly hobby was replacing clutch slave cylinder every 3 months spending 5000 or risk the family vacation. There were many instances where I went for family for vacation and after nearly 45 minutes into journey the clutch starts sticky, the car cannot move further, and I returned home
Uh, its not TSI power, this comment is misleading. Have a comparo between Manual transmissions and then it will be more clear. Historically Hyundai DCTs are WAY TOO SAFELY TUNED hence the delay. Would be great to see a MANUAL comparo between the two. Just like what was done for Verna vs Slavia and the Verna clearly won
Taigun will loose because there's a clutch delay valve in all the 1.5 tsi cars due to which cars can't be launched but still it manages to do 0-100 in 8.5 seconds which is really good with a lag but in potential taigun can beat creta in track also it can beat creta in heavy traffic too cuz it is much more stable and balanced than creta

Except for dct lag on launch the 1l turbos outperforms old 1.6ls due to better output figures, depends on which brand's 1l turbo though.

Definetly not .😂.creta has more power but its heavier and much bigger in all dimensions. not to forget it has a lot better interior and hell lot of features. And taigun won by the narrowest of margin.nothing is excellent about taigun,it's dimensions and lesser weight helped

Well I have driven both engines and decided to go with Kushaq 1.5 DSG…and its because of engine sound and punch you get on pressing the pedal…it’s missing in creta or seltos 1.5 turbo

The I20 N-line is same as regular I20 turbo in drivetrain but makes a difference in performance outputs, also N-line has the MT opt., so it's not just looks. Nonetheless, GT should only be compared with N-line not regular turbo.

Creta N Line claims 0 to 100 in 8.9sec and for reference purpose let's just take 9.0sec. The same engine is in normal creta as well. I don't understand what is going on. Also please mention the power to weight ratio of both the cars. These days journalist media never tells the weight of the car along with the power to weight ratio. If nothing is being hidden and media cares about it so much for customers then why don't they provide weight and power to weight ratio details along with their 0 to 100 and other details

If you bought the gt line of the taigun you must have bought the creta n line, the shifts on the creta n line is much better and it might win. So you can do the next drag with the creta n line instead of the normal creta with a turbo
They failed in the design of Taigun. Thats the reason it became flop otherwise its a good car. But in comparison to Creta its looking like a segment below car
If you look at 4:01 onwards the second launch in Creta was much better and had clear lead. Since these cars are neck and neck, For sure Creta would be winning that. Pretty sure they edited the footage and shown another race at the end of 2nd race..
@@SevenCreations no.. dsg won't be able to make up that much especially since that footage was atleast around a quarter mark of quarter mark. If you watched the races closely there is barely any difference at the end and dsg was able to lead from 2nd gear onwards. That's much earlier than the time I have mentioned.

Creta N Line claims 0 to 100 in 8.9sec and for reference purpose let's just take 9.0sec. The same engine is in normal creta as well. I don't understand what is going on.
Also please mention the power to weight ratio of both the cars.
These days journalist media never tells the weight of the car along with the power to weight ratio.
If nothing is being hidden and media cares about it so much for customers then why don't they provide weight and power to weight ratio details along with their 0 to 100 and other details

If you bought the gt line of the taigun you must have bought the creta n line, the shifts on the creta n line is much better and it might win.
So you can do the next drag with the creta n line instead of the normal creta with a turbo
They failed in the design of Taigun. Thats the reason it became flop otherwise its a good car. But in comparison to Creta its looking like a segment below car

If you look at 4:01 onwards the second launch in Creta was much better and had clear lead. Since these cars are neck and neck, For sure Creta would be winning that. Pretty sure they edited the footage and shown another race at the end of 2nd race..

It's because of the DSG that Taigun moved ahead at every shift.
@@SevenCreations no.. dsg won't be able to make up that much especially since that footage was atleast around a quarter mark of quarter mark. If you watched the races closely there is barely any difference at the end and dsg was able to lead from 2nd gear onwards. That's much earlier than the time I have mentioned.

I think the overall size does matter here too. Creta is little bigger and wider compared to Taigun which gives little advantage to Taigun..

@@evoIndia Stop capping, & use the regular TSi then or use only the GT with N-line no matter what, there're some suspension & gearbox output changes in N-line, it's NOT the same. Whether it's the same it's still not justifiable, just use N-line or don't use GT here, even GT has same drivetrain as regular 1.5l tgdi DCT but behaves different in efficiency & performance, this isn't qualified at all which I noticed right from the thumbnail.
