@@bonkeydollocks1879 check the manufacturer site. If you remove the ignition cable, the cylinder will misfire. Each cylinder needs an external source of ignition.

Yes the Sound like a diesel comes from the Gas-valves and the Engine ist very simalar to a Diesel-Engine.

Maybe half of the work was made in Germany (papers and blueprints). the rest was made in India as the label of the generator shows. Not so proud if I was in your shoes.....
