Finally a video about this engine that actually shows data interesting for engineering nerds! :)
Hey so sorry I missed your comment, haha thanks for watching :)
seriously upon all online video i watch,u make yours 100% perfect interns of explanation and Technical.thanks. i just need more explanation on f1 to f10 and their functions sir
Hi Pete, thanks for watching and your comment, unfortunately I am not aware of the F1 and F10
Very good video, lots of details including down to the control system. Thanks for producing and sharing.
Thanks for watching :)
Soon I will be sent to study at Jenbach.Really looking forward to this.
I live in Belarus and will soon work with this technique.this technique is placed on the JENBACHER drilling.I admire this technique every day
sounds good, good luck with your study
Superb Presentation. Thank you for sharing.
no worries at all thank you for watching :)
Great video. Appreciate the effort and congratulations for the resuls.
Thanks crucee
Good
Working with JENBACHER 620 engines in Brazil
Very nice :)
Thank you for your Demonstration
No worries at all, an old video now but still a great unit
That first plate exchanger you showed is the oil cooling heat exchanger. Which is tied into the HT loop. The Jacket water cooling exchanger is to the right of it. Mainly still done through dry coolers (radiators) mounted on top of the counter or on the ground outside depending on the set up. Not a bad simple explanation I suppose.
This was a basement installation and the coolers were mounted locally, thanks for watching and your comment.
Fantastic engine in fantastic video !
Thanks for watching :)
Thanks for the video
Hi Faizan, no worries at all thanks for watching.
Very good video. What size of cable was used on the main lines?
Hi there, its an old one now would love to start making more with the big engines, From memory they were 800mm2
Nice video for trainee
Thanks Asad
awosom video nice
thanks for watching
tnx your video
Thanks for your comment
6:35 Intercoolers in cars are AFTER the turbocharger.
yep but here we need to heat up the gas to avoid misfire and condensate - we can also cool it down but in europe we have more cold than hot days so it's not very often necessary
yes correct as per Nodrama's comment
Thank you for this video! Finally something for "energetics" engineers :)
Can you please tell, how do you utilize the thermal energy (HT/LT water loop) except heating the building.
What are the alternatives?
Hi there Igor, Thank you for your comment, the HT is separated in to LTHW (Jacket) and Steam (Exhaust), the LT then supplies underfloor heating, and AHU heating coils with Boiler top up, however in other installations absorption chillers can be installed to provide cooling to AHU's etc.
it's also used in hospitals, district heating, greenhouses, for industry like food factorys or pharmaceutical productions and so on
I'm working with biogas engine for a university project. I have a few questions regarding engine working principles. What is the function of the turbocharger in the engine? From what I understood after the biogas and air are mixed, the turbocharger will compress the mixture then it will be cool with the intercooler before entering the cylinder for combustion. Thanks in advance.
Hi Amir, yes thats correct on the Jenbacher the Air, and Gas are mixed prior to the turbochargers which then compresses the combined gas into the inlet manifold.
Hey nice work, I got a question. By any chance you know what type of controllers( Smart relays/ PLC?) they use inside this particular panel
Hi there Dominic, yes sure its a Wago Remote IO, and Allen Bradley PLC.
So there are no GE generator management/protection relay ?
Sorry yes it has a Woodward protection relay and a G59 seg relay
Hey thank you! Can you explain what is this LEANOX technology and how does it differ from the conventional way of using a lamda O2 sensor and regulating the A/F ratio?
thanks for the induction and I will like you to share video on all electrical parts of engine type J612GSE12, J620GSE12 and 624
Very detailed i jist appreciate the work these machines do while excruciatigly loud 😂😂 i cant even open the door the pressure is so great like playing tug of war with a tornado
haha yes it was the same with this one :)
Hi, thanks for posting the video. Were you saying it was pneumatically started? I wasn't sure on that detail. Also, how many valves does it have per cylinder?
Hi there, Unfortunately I am unsure of the answers as It has been a while since I worked on this engine. Ross
It has 4 valves per cylinder and doesn't start on compressed air. The gas compressor that is mentioned is there to supply the prechamber gas valves with a pressure ,50 mbar higher than the actual boost pressure and is not a starting system.
@@sjolmord123 thanks very much for that info.
@@sjolmord123 This man knows.
I've seen similar engines in a biogas plant in Germany. Where is this one installed?
This was installed in London, UK in a laboratory
As a backup generator?
Hi Andrew, No this one was actually used as a CCHP with some large absorption chillers in connection.
Gaz mikserin açılıp kapanma sesi geliyor☺️ aynısının j320 ve j420 de çalışıyorum azcık aşikarlık var👍🏻
very nice, good engines to work on :)
merhaba sadettin bey sizden bir bilgi rica edeceğim jms612 gs motor içşn 631265 filtreye ihtiyacımız var bu filtrenin boyutlarını biliyormusunuz

Do you need to stop the unit to maintain? if a plug or coil pack gives up ?
Hi there Helstontvx, there are some tasks you could do with the unit running if you can isolate the electrical connection to make safe but certainly not the plugs, the safer option would be to always shut the unit down and allow it to cool.
@@RossPerryProductions So would a backup unit be required ..understand its a spark ignition engine ..with CHP you lose a lot when you turn the unit off.
That engine room would make a dandy torture chamber.
haha it sure would
What gas does it run on? Propane ore methan ore other gases
Hi Lucy, In this instance we ran the CCHP on Natural gas which is a naturally occurring hydrocarbon gas mixture, however I have known similar engines to run off butane and propane. Thanks for watching :)
Hello Sir
I need to the information about jenbacher jms612gs for the filter order no:631265
what is the dimensions for the filter
please early reply
thank you
Hi there, really sorry but we are not currently working on this engine any more, therefore cannot check the dimensions for you, sorry I cannot be of more help.
it looks just like a scaled down version of GE's Diesel engines .
Hi there. Yes this engine was actually purchased through GE
it’s the same thing as the loco engine we have em in FL that are gas compression
Excellent video, but I have to ask, why a gasoline engine ?
Hi Badger305, thanks for watching, it is not gasoline, but high pressure natural gas (methane).
@@RossPerryProductions That explains it.
*Sounds like a washing machine on the spin cycle.*
a big washing machine
how much power or KVA OR KWA does it produce ?
Hi there the Power output rating is around 2.1 KVA
Its a 2MW engine running at around 0.98 PF
Does this engine have an air intake backfire diaphram?
Hi Chris, not to my knowledge sorry I cannot be of more help. Ross
@@RossPerryProductions No problem. I worked on Jenbachers a few years ago. I remember they had a diaphram that would blowout if there was a backfire. I think the idea was to protect the air filter from damage, but I could be mistaken. The diaphram was huge, but it was a big girl!
@@AlfFieldArt Makes Perfect sense if there was one, I would imagine a backfire from one of these wouldn't be small either
What type of engineer are you?
Mechanical and Electrical Building Services
it have prechamber plug and gas booster
yes it sure does
The moticules of three different once they combine at end the flatline the forward beltcure
sorry i don't think your comment has translated very well
I subscribed
Thank you Andres
what is the average electrical Efficiency ?
we get around the 4000kw mark :)
@@RossPerryProductions the Electrical efficiency: 30% 40% 50%?
Dose it make gas?
Hi there, no it does not it uses gas to generate heat, power and cooling, thanks for watching, please give the thumbs up :)
@@RossPerryProductions ok thanks I thought that it made gas this thing makes me have dreams of that engine running on hydrogen
Idk no-one else has seen my comat
What is the cost of such an engine?
Over 1million GBP
Now only if I can fit that in my honda🤔🤔
GamerBoiMike maybe you can? just have to stretch the front a little and shift the seat back :)
tem material em português?
Hi there sorry no I don't.
Princess Diana tell me that work in vountville moore
princess diana?
High failure reat of P.C. valve make it worst..... 😒
thanks for your comment
