I love how Mario chose to completely undersell himself, when in every other video he’s basically full of himself, bored, or paranoid. You left out turning to stone, fireballs, flight, riding two kinds of shoes, wearing turtle shells, other stupid outfits, your raccoon suit, your cat suit, your giant cat suit, your frog suit, your goomba suit, your bullet hat, other hats I’m too lazy to mention, and I’m sure there’s more I can’t remember or don’t know about. Robotnik, you just got lucky there haha you had height advantage and he stupidly chose to stand directly beneath you, when five seconds ago he was expecting you to drop stuff on him. British bowser forever! (Not cat bowser though. Anything 3D world was awful as far as I could see. ESPECIALLY the new one 😑 and I watched the entire gameplay in one sitting)
The irony here is both sides have the perfect counter to their nemesis. Eggman actually uses strategy and forethought in his plans so Mario can't just abuse poorly picked terrain and trap set up like he does with Bowser, and Bowser kills on physical contact so Sonic can't beat him since his only form of attack is charging/jumping at the enemy which makes contact
Mario: Anti-beast human with tools Bowser: Melee-specialised beast Sonic: Anti-tool melee beast Robotnik: Tool-specialised human Antagonists are good at dealing with their own kind Protagonists are good at taking initiative and forcing antag into protag's fighting style This stops working when antag is not only on par, but leagues better at protag's own style of fighting

Bowser sees normal wolves that he could easily kill, but acts like a coward and gets mauled by them. Bowser sees a hedgehog that can run faster than the speed of sound and slice through steel. Easily kills it by turning back.

Yeahhhh, they've gotten pretty stupid with their calculations over the years. I still like the series, but they've deviated from their original method, which was to not assume characters can match the feats of others they defeat and not taking single cinematic scenes and basing a character's strength around it.
Screw Attack are biased and clickbaitey with Death Battle. The VS Battle Wiki has always been more accurate than they are and that speaks volumes if I'm honest.
Mario can punch through solid brick just by eating mushrooms, has a 20ft vertical that crushes his enemies, can tame fire and ice magic, and has access to a multitude of magical furry costumes. He's essentially a demigod.

I got kinda tired of dorklys predictable jokes, but the monologue at the end was very amusing. And in the end i still rewatch dorkly constantly so the joke is on me.
That is because he’s not utilizing battle moves that would basically force mario into the spikes. The simple thing to do: throw himself backwards at Mario. Mario either dodges or gets impaled. Masters it to where, even in a miss, bowser rolls onto his feet, mario can’t grab his tail.

The fact Dr Light built X with the exact same Achilles heel as the original Megaman is baffling to me. Was he just hoping spikes wouldn't exist in the future? It took until the Shadow Armour in X6 for spike immunity and that only lasted the one game.
Based on what Eggman has built in the past, he's got a significant edge here. I mean, not many folk can successfully create machines capable of universal destruction, let alone multiversal destruction. Granted his first multiversal machine took a second Eggman to help build, and another an ancient entity to build, but besides that, Eggman can create some serious heat if he finds the materials to do so, and boy does he.
Super Mario Galaxy 1 ends with Bowsers Galaxy Reactor blowing up, and causing a black hole that was going to destroy the universe. The little lumas all flew into it to reset the universe. Bowser then tries nearly the same plan in Galaxy 2. Ultimately the Galaxy machines he makes are supposed to create a new galaxy under his control. He's actually has godly tech in those games.

Yeahhhh, they've gotten pretty stupid with their calculations over the years. I still like the series, but they've deviated from their original method, which was to not assume characters can match the feats of others they defeat and not taking single cinematic scenes and basing a character's strength around it.

I got kinda tired of dorklys predictable jokes, but the monologue at the end was very amusing. And in the end i still rewatch dorkly constantly so the joke is on me.
I like how Bowser sounds so sophisticated compared to his usual portrayals in the Mario games.

Mario still couldn't be defeated if Bowser looked back, he'd just grab his Tail and hurl him into a Spiked Explosive.
That is because he’s not utilizing battle moves that would basically force mario into the spikes. The simple thing to do: throw himself backwards at Mario. Mario either dodges or gets impaled. Masters it to where, even in a miss, bowser rolls onto his feet, mario can’t grab his tail.

Finally, the return of British accent Bowser
Based on what Eggman has built in the past, he's got a significant edge here. I mean, not many folk can successfully create machines capable of universal destruction, let alone multiversal destruction. Granted his first multiversal machine took a second Eggman to help build, and another an ancient entity to build, but besides that, Eggman can create some serious heat if he finds the materials to do so, and boy does he.
Super Mario Galaxy 1 ends with Bowsers Galaxy Reactor blowing up, and causing a black hole that was going to destroy the universe. The little lumas all flew into it to reset the universe. Bowser then tries nearly the same plan in Galaxy 2. Ultimately the Galaxy machines he makes are supposed to create a new galaxy under his control. He's actually has godly tech in those games.
