I appreciate that Gen 9 has made all 3 starters competitively viable, with or without hidden abilities. I'm not the biggest fan of the designs, but they've legit made it difficult to pick your starter 👍🏻
@@robbe2647 Totes. I got destroyed by a Quaquaval with Aqua Step and Moxie. Truly a deadly combination. Your only option with Quaquaval is "kill it before it kills you"!
The gen 9 starters are pretty busted in the signature moves department. Great team! I went with Meowscarada and I only wanted to use Gen 9 Pokemon, so my team consisted of Meowscarada, Clodsire, Ceruledge, Tinkaton, Tauros (Water Breed), and Baxcalibur. Me and my friend are doing a soul link and we spun a wheel for starters. I got Sprigatito and i didnt know what to do, but thankfully this video saved me!
I have two suggestions for this team. First, for Meowscarada, I feel it should learn Thunder Punch instead of Low Sweep, honestly. Gotta have a check for Flying-types, especially with how frail it can be. Second, for Magnezone, two Electric-type moves is a no-go. It'd be better off learning something else other than Charge Beam like Confuse Ray or Light Screen to help with support. Other than that, no problems here at all.
Actually ended up building this team with one change mentioned in the video, Garchomp for Clodsire. Aside from that, I took a close look and figured this team would be what I had wanted to use.
Another move that would work for Meowscarada (instead of Low Sweep) is Power Gem because it counters four of its weaknesses. Play Rough also counters its Fighting-type weakness.
Merry Christmas Mystic! So far I think this is my personal favorite of the best teams from this game so far, like I'd honestly use it on an in-game playthrough only thing I'd prolly change is use Glimmora over Clodsire, but that's just because I have personal bias to Glimmora even though it's much harder to get than Clodsire. Also Mystic Armarouge is pronounced using the french word for red rouge not rogue like from D&D his name basically means armor red. I'm sorry for the correction it's just Armarouge is my favorite pokemon of gen 9, I'm super happy you put him on this best team though 😁

Armarouge's name is actually pronounced as Arm-a-roo-juh, rouge being the French word for red. It makes sense when you think of it being in Scarlet. This is also why Ceruledge contains the word Cerulean, a shade of blue for Violet. For the word that you're using, it would be spelled as rogue.
I stuck to Meowscarada, Ceruledge, Gastrodon, Farigiraf, Tinkaton & Baxcalibur and done very well with it, but this could have been another decent team build for me since my Azumarill became my Water Tera raider of choice.

Just gonna make a comment here about paldea in general; Ceruledge is the better fire-ghost type in the region this is reluctant because earlier you mentioned that skeliderge was the best starter option. I had assumed that you had opted to not include it because it was a version exclusive. But now I see that Armerouge was included here with meowscarada. By far the best possible combo you could make would be Meowscarada, Ceruledge, and Palophin. From there you could gain support from other early hitters like Lucario, Gardivoir and garganacl. The biggest reason for why I suggest that this is a better best team, is that Ceruledge is faster than skeliderge and has access to recovery via hitter blade. Combine that with swords dance and shadow claw and it can handle badly the entire late game. The only down side is that it does take a while to get access to evolve it. Meowscarada is also objectively better than the other two staters because it’s signature move flower trick essentially has a base 105 attack and avoids defensive buffs by your opponents. Lastly, palophin is extremely powerful all around once it enters its hero form.

My team in Scarlet playthrough was the 3 Paldea starters in their final form (i got the other 2 via surprise trade) tinkaton with steel tera type, Baxcalibur with Dragon tera type (i caught frigibax in Deliza Passage after the third badge) and Kilowattrel with electric tera type. That's a dream team with only new pokemon and type diversity.
@@videos43334dhdjj774h based ngl having all 3 starters
mt team was: meowscarada, Clodsire, ceruledge, gardevoir, ampharos, and cyclizar. pretty good team. id say i was under leveled through my playthrough and only really had trouble with larry.
I wonder what team would be the best using all 3 starters
Can’t remember exactly where but in my second play through I actually found an arcanine at level 28 just roaming around the general area by the bug type gym
Even though its type overlap, i really liked using meowscarada and fire tera leafeon on the same team only because i really like leafeon and wanted to use it in this gen (If you havent realized yet, i used leafeon whenever i could use it)
When you use a Fakeout to troll the Gardevoir haters XD
Started Violet with my Meowscarada. My team was Meowscarada/Arcanine/Clawitzer/Kilowattrel/Gardevoir/Glimmora.
Shellos has already been used on another best team, proceeds to put Clodsire and Annihilape on the team.
Finally the moment we have been waiting for.
The team was good but kind of disappointed in the team overall.
Yeah, I kind of feel the same way as well
This is what I been waiting for!
What is a good moveset for arcanine
I picked sprigrito. I used clodsire armorage annihilape cyclizar and killowattrell
Kinda sad that ceruledge didnt male it on the team, but whatever
My Meowscarada team consists of:
1. Meowscarada
2. Raichu
3. Noivern
4. Annihilape
5. Farigiraf
6. Vaporeon
Move pool for Arcanine ?
I used Meowscarada on my first play through. The team I used consisted of
Meowscarada
Kilowattrel
Palafin
Ceruledge
Tinkaton
Baxcalibur

Hey Mystic I got Pokémon Scarlet for Christmas and Merry Christmas
Great options for my little cat boy, but what Arcanine's recommended move's?
Merry Christmas my dude!
I actually want to use your Quaquaval team but with Meowscarada as my starter Pokémon 💀
The thumbnail looks so cute, but considering flower trick, that Sprigattito's about to get the finishing move
I also picked sprigatito as my starter and my team was: Meowscarda, clodsire, quagsire, pikachu, armorudge, and ceruledge.
Great video! I’ve been waiting on this, only thing I think I’m going to change is put my boy garchop over clodsire
Garchomp is good the new persudo-legendary Baxcalibur is the new generation Garchomp i think would help with that with Clodsire would be a good idea
Moveset for arcanine please
How about a best team while using all the starters on your team?
This was 4/6 of my first play through of Paldea in Scarlet. - Magnezone & Azumarill
Merry Christmas Mystic. And all of my other Pokémon brothers and sisters.
Annihilape is a super strong Pokemon with high defenses as well as speed+attack
I remember using Primeape is FireRed version 2 years ago by the suggestion of Mystic
It was one of my best teams I ever had of in the game with Charizard, Golduck, Kadabra, Magneton, Primeape and Kangaskhan
Happy Festivus Trainers! I hope today has been a Merry one!
Excellent team build! I've used Worry Seed on Mismagius from Floragato/ Meowscarada to nullify their levitate ability. works 9/10
What are the moves do I want to use for Arcanine if I only want to get Pokemon Violet?
Question, which Elemental Fang would you recommend for Arcanine? since he has access to all the fangs that you mentioned.
I want to know tooooo...
Merry Christmas
I plan on starting with a Sprigatito and evolving her into a beautiful Floragato
I hope I can catch a Skidoo too since I've never been able to play X or Y.
What is a good move set for Ceruledge if I want to run him instead of what you have on this team here I'm curious what you would run as a move set for him please help me
Merry Christmas 🎄🎁!!!! Thanks Mysticumbreon for this gift so much appreciated
I'd have Liquidation on Azumarill. It's too slow to get Waterfall flinches
Left out the battles with Eri and Clavell. Also, any chance of a best teams for the Academy Ace Tourney?
i used Azumarill on my first play through and fr huge power. it’s a blessing i even kept defense curl and rollout paired with play rough and i forgot what water move i had
Umm what is arcanine attack set?
Merry Christmas Mystic, when you mentioned Meowscarada I am using it for a new save file now for myself. My thought on this
Meowscarada
Flamigo
Veluza
Bellibolt
Iron Treads
Cetitan

@videos43334dhdjj774h great team I have Baxcalibur for Violet Kilowattrel for Scarlet also I have Tinkaton for scarlet too. I have internet issues I do not have 2 of the starters I do have issues on my violet team I need help with it.
I appreciate the need to mix it up, but Gardevoir is my favorite and I would have liked to see her here if she fit 😅
why were you ev training in attack so much against those veluza lol??
