Regarding the zebras. Check so you have 70 AND MORE and not just 70. If you only have it at a specific value it will only show up at exactly 70. (This is from Sony experience only so I might be wrong regarding the fuudge).
A specific value is good when you want to expose for skintones for example. Like 70+-2. Then everything between 68 and 72 will show zebras

Enhanced for RUclips allows you to exclude channels from its inbuilt adblocker.
But to be honest ad revenue today on RUclips is pretty bad, content creators gets something like 25 - 30% of the ad revenue what used to be 90% in 2010
Get RUclips premium, then the channel gets more money than they would get from your ad views and you don’t have to see ads. But it does cost money lol. But if you want to support the creators…

When switched to sony to compare, it looked better to me. Fuji looked too yellow. Maybe the white balance. XD
I tested a Sony A7SIII against the R5C in a DR practical test (overexposing then recovering and underexposing then recovering). And oh my god... Calling Fuji yellow tinted? You should see the skintones on a pushed A7SIII footage. People look like they're out of a Simpsons episode.

Salty cause I stated a fact that was proven in a practical setting and you can’t take it because you’re an A7SIII fan? Don’t get me wrong, I own the A7SIII (2 of them) since that’s what I shoot product videos with since it doesn’t require skintone accuracy. But for anything that has humans in it I shoot with the R5C. I never said it’s a bad camera so why getting so defensive? It’s a fact that the DR the A7SIII is renowned for it’s rather a gimmick in the real world use when dealing with humans and skin tones subject-wise.
That 50mm 1.8 is the best lens ever made for the price. I bought one after I sold my canon 5diii just to have it again. Of Course, you need to make sure you get one with the metal bracket as the newer re-release ones are plastic.

The 49-52mm question is completely misunderstood.
He has a wide angle lens adapter with 52mm filter thread. He has a Sony 50mm/1.8 (50mm focal length). That lens has an 49mm filter thread and the 49-52 step-up ring is precisely the right tool to match them. Problem is, I can't tell if the wide angle adapter works with the additional distance.
Even bigger question is, why on earth is someone looking to attach a wide angle adapter on the 50mm lens on an APS-C camera?
Sometimes we do things that seem crazy to others for certain looks and jobs...
I've heard someone did put a wide angle adapter on a mitakon 25mm mft lens.
@@herrreinsch I have the Olympus WCON-08B wide angle adapter (62mm thread). Bought it used more than 10 years ago. The use case was to get a wider angle on a bridge camera with an 35-400mm lens. This worked but it is heavy and it reduces the quality significantly. It is also limited and can't be used on wider lenses than 35mm (FF). I made some tests on the Panasonic GH5 with the 12-60mm and the results where unusable. So in general, you use this to get a wider angle if there is no other way.
If you have a camera with interchangeable lenses there are lots of better ways to get a decent 35mm lens. If you have the 50mm/F1.8 and you really need something like a 35mm/F1.8, using the adapter with step up rings might save you a few hundred dollar but it also delivers a terrible quality. If you don't need F1.8, any cheap kit lens is better than that.
filter rings tend to be in a series of 3mm steps e.g 46-49-52-55-58 so the 50mm has to be a focal length. Still most front mounted adapters are low quality.

I enjoy watching your content, your super funny, I love your sarcasm and your knowledge on most of the camera brands out there. The only thing I haven't had issue with is the color on my Sony Alpha A7IV, I know you mentioned the red color being strong but I haven't had that issue woth my face being too red but then again my skin tone is a medium brown. 🧐🤔 I wonder if that has anything to do with the color issue.
I love the color on all my Sony Cameras. I can't see a difference between canon and my ZV1. Catalyst Edit/Prepare Stabilizes fantastic with a 10% crop or less you adjust as needed. I put WL-1 on ZV1 really wide now. My A6500 I would not trade for anything.
I just picked up the 16mm RF. I actually like it a lot.

The RF 16mm F/2.8, which YOU actually suggested I buy for video 🤦🏿♂️, is actually reasonably sharp and decent for stills. But for video, no, unless you're on a tripod. It's not stabilized so you must rely on IBIS alone, which isn't good enough. Electronic stabilization on RF bodies is warpy. I vlogged with it exactly once. But it's good for street photography.
It sounded good on paper lol. Until I've tested it, it's not Camera Conspiracy approved :)

@@TheAllAmericanDriver try a walking vlog on an uneven ground and get back to me. Mine was wobbly AF around the perimeter. I got better results with an adapted (and stabilized) EF 16-35 F/4, but it's a bit bulky for that.

Casey, you should get a Canon FD adapter and get the Canon 50mm f/0.95 "Dream Lens" and start making new content with vintage lenses. Canon made 134 FD lenses and you can make a video per each lens. That is a whole year of content.
I'm in on that Idea, huge vintage lens fan aswell, but sadly Canon FD's only have 2d pop.

I currently own a Canon m50 and i'm focused on filming amateur music videos for mostly broke rappers, i also really like street and event (concert) photography, I have access to a lot of Canon Ef lenses, (8-15L. 11-24L. 24-70L mark 1. 50mm 2.8. sigma 150-600. canon 28-300L) I really like the specs for video and low light of the sony a7s3, but i'm really hesitant to switch systems and lose access to all these lenses for canon, (the lenses are part of my dads collection, so i get free access lol) Do you think it's worth changing systems and going with Sony? Or should i go with a R5?

I always in record 4K 10 bit 422 anymore, and now I'm doing it in ProRes using an Atomos Ninja v. I don't do it for color grading though because my Panasonic G9 is already perfect 😁. No, I do it simply because it's the best that I can do! It takes no more time to record at this level and costs nothing but storage space, so why not just do your best I say to myself out loud. I always end up with a better finished product this way. Cheers 🍻
