  • This Eastern Christian Hymn is taken from the psalms, and refers to Christ our Lord. It is sung at every Saturday Vespers and on all the feasts of the Holy Theotokos and saints. It is also taken on the feasts of the Lord, if they occur on a Sunday or Monday. The Byzantine Catholic Churches and Eastern Orthodox Churches would take this hymn. I am part of the group who sang it, so forgive me for the poor recording quality. We used a smartphone to record the music.
    Here is the text:
Blessed is the man who has not walked in the counsel of the ungodly. Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked shall perish. Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
Serve the Lord with fear, exalt in Him with trembling. Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
Blessed are those who trust in Him. Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
Salvation is of the Lord, may your blessing by on your people. Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
Now and forever and ever. Amen. Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! Glory be to You, O God!
