3 things I no longer do to my Locs
your locs are looking really good! they've thickened up like crazy
Thank you so much! It sure has been a journey. Your comment inspired my video from yesterday ♥️🥰
The only things I dislike about having locs is separating at the roots and retwisting. If I can ditch retwisting, I would be happier. I need to look into semi freeform.
Yeah, separating from the roots can really be a task!!!😫
I'm semi free-form. I chose that route because I didn't want my scalp to show. I love it because there is no standard of "parts", but my hair is still neat. My roots are thick, and the new growth gives me so much volume. My hair looks so good! Can't nobody tell me nothing!😜
That’s why I like your channel Health over length you can have long unhealthy locks, but if they are unhealthy, maybe if you cut them make them healthy again they will grow and flourish even more. Love your channel girl.
It's like you read my mind! Now I feel more confident about letting them grow longer, and seeing how it goes. Thank you 🥰♥️
Sun is just luvin on you and I'm here for it! The thing is - with oiling the scalp, it depends on the climate where you find yourself. I live in West Africa now and I don't need to oil my scalp for most of the year when it's rainy season, cos it's pretty humid. During the dry months, I NEED to oil my scalp every time I wash. But living in the US on the East coast during Fall/Winter, oiling my scalp was a MUST. So it really depends. I'd say, when you do need to oil your scalp, use a light oil with the consistency of sebum - jojoba and grapeseed oil are good options. But if the air has enough moisture in it, you probably don't need the oil. I'm 100% with you on needing to wash my hair frequently now that I'm working out most days a week. I can't make it past 2 weeks.
Yeah, this makes absolute sense. Maybe during Winter I may need to, we shall see. Oooooo enjoy that lovely West African sunshine 🌞
@@Winis_World I'm so loving the sun, not gonna lie. It was one of the things I missed so bad when I wasn't here; sun and pepper that makes your tongue sit up and pay attention 😄
@hawtnsweet hahaha thats so funny, and i know exactly what you mean😂😂
I learned from my mistakes about my locs no retwist growing organically and spraying aloe vera juice with oil of my choice as needed ❤
Love this❤️
Yes it does look good - the bob length is so cute on you! I seldom put oil on my locs…every now and then. All I do with regularity is spray mine with Rosewater every few days…that’s it! 🤷🏾♀️
The best way!! Thank you🥰❤️
I don’t sprits with water everyday anymore and it’s helping my new growth lock up faster.
This is very interesting!
Looking amazing hunty😊

The cut looks very nice. Also, I no longer use oil on my locs. I use a little Indian hemp grease by ‘Kuza’ on my scalp at wash time and bring it down the hair shaft. When it starts to feel dry, again, it’s time to wash.👍🏾
Thank you so much 🥰 Ohhh i like the sound of this. Sounds nice and simple!
You’re locs looking good girl! Love the cut. I def will do this in the next few years.
Thank you!🥰
