You’re absolutely right about semi Freeform locs. It requires just as much maintenance as retwist and interlocking. Speaking of retwisting I push it to every 6 months.

I'm starting freeforms, and I just had to compliment you on your hair.
I didn't fully understand the difference between freeform and semi.
However, when my hair grows longer, I will separate it to look similar to yours.

I started my loc journey on February 10th of last year. My hair was longish when I started. I’ve never had a style. I always only wear them down. I’ve been watching your videos for long time so I tend to follow a lot of the things you say. I usually wait for you to do it a few times first. lol. I get my locs retwisted once/ month and since it’s been a year, I’m going to extend that to 6 weeks and then by the end of the year, it’ll be w months. I wash my hair ever w weeks.

Wash every 2 weeks, I wait about a month and a half to retwist. Hot oil every other month
