I've journeyed with you from a couple of weeks into it. There's been a fair few "ups and downs that, I think reflects life for most of us.
Btw, I was so pleased when you decided to travel and take on what your experiance was as a:
    black woman,
    with loc's
    and single.
I do have children, 2 boys (grown men). Traveling is exactly what I'd like to be doing.
So, I ask of you to continue traveling within your current remit.
Perhaps you could include some disability issues where the use of a wheelchair and/or walking stick, electric wheelchair would be required. These would be provided by I (and members with various disabilities) would be grateful for a venture recieved at our own cost, obviously.
Thank you and keep up the good UK Community VibeUK.

Styling can put stress on your Loc's, for sure. Good you're doing your own hair again. And, another thing...People have different energy, which is something to consider as well.❤

The Caspar comment is so true. Been doing my own hair too. I want to cut them some, but I need a professional for that.😊

    I plan on retwisting less.

Just recently had a scalp analysis done. Was informed of build up, scarring and inflammation on my scalp.
My 200+ locs are tailbone length. But I did some damage to my edges in my relaxed years. Soo My changes are washing once a month using apple cider vinegar & clarifying shampoo, instead of washing every 3 months 🙃. I still plan to retwist 3 times a year (my new growth doesn't grow away from the loc). Focus on scalp detox, health inside & out (hydration & vitamins). Incorporating scalp massages 💆‍♀️ tea rinses & steam treatments.

This sounds extremely good, and well thought out! I think one day if i have further issues, I'll look into also getting a scalp analysis done.

@@Winis_World What prompted me to visit a trichologist, was my thinned out edges was hoping to find out if the damage was permanent. So I can stop buying everyone's "elixir growth oil." Lol Unfortunately she informed me that a dermatologist would have to confirm with a scalp biopsy. But she did see scarring, blocked hair follicles. She strongly recommended washing my hair more frequent than I had. She offered services like detox. She's so booked I had to go home & do research. That's where I discovered the apple cider vinegar benefits on the scalp. This long enough. I'm excited to see more updates it's very helpful, we're all on this journey trying to figure this out, because I'm loc'ed for life!

@knightlyrose4719 thanks so much for sharing! I really appreciate it! Honestly, so many people have "hair growth" oil, and very few of them work! I'm happy to hear that you got useful information from a professional. It's always comforting to know that one isn't alone on this journey ♥️

Hello☺️ some people swear by it! I think it all depends on the person/their hair type. It definitely wouldn't work for me though, so I wouldn't give it a try.
