@@life0093 the timing isn't easy. Took some practice for sure. I noticed barret dodges best if you always jump right when facing towards bahamut on the 1st throw and immediately jump left to dodge the 2nd
Umbral strikes are about 1.5-2 seconds apart, so you can’t just constantly roll them. The timing is difficult. For some fights, it’s really beneficial to set targeting to fixed so you can always see what’s coming and from where.
@@jianuzzi meeeh I thought it was still good man!! Barret being the tank he is is bound to left open a few times but you handled it so good man ESPECIALY against Bahamut and its* Umbral Strikes i didnt even think it was possible with Barret to dodge them till i witnessed this!!
The only reason I can think of for soloing top secrets as melee barret is to see him ragdoll the tonberry lol😆 But damn your patience with barret solo run is just unreal. Don't think I have that same level of patience lol😅
That's Barret's overrun (triangle move) perk. He can basically tank almost any hit while rushing at enemies. I can't remember if I had steelskin on, but im pretty sure I did if I only took 1600 lol

Hey! I’ve been trying to beat vs Top Secrets for days now. I’ve tried some of your videos since you make it look like a piece of cake, but I’m failing on the execution I guess. Is there a way to make the fight trivial? Which one of your strats is the easiest to pull-off? Just wanna get the Gotterdammerung before playing on Hard but I’m getting my ass kicked!

I tried to replicate your solo Aerith run, but even without the other two characters turned into frogs I still kept dying at Leviathan or Bahamut. I see you have strats for Cloud and Barret as well, so which one is the easiest to pull-off? Just really trying to get the Gotterdammerung before Hard. Characters are all at 50 and Materia is mostly maxed.
@@velhomiguel ok go in the fight with Aerith cloud and Tifa, make sure to have fire and elemental equipped on armor for Aerith and another character that you plan to make your party healer. You can give Aerith thunder and hp absorb. Give everyone steadfast block, skill master, and at least 1 mp on everyone (give 2 if you have space) Quick question. Are you playing on ps5 or ps4?
