- Never underestimate the power of level 1 spell spams with Aerith. Leviathan is the only problem in this match up because Aerith has a hard time trying to stagger him. Everything else is just there to catch magic with their faces.
The only character that can beat Aerith in dps is Tifa, but she needs the Gotterdamerung to do so.

This remake was my first Final Fantasy game and I admit on my first play through I naively thought that Aerith was purely a support character, a healer I guess. After watching videos, including yours and playing through multiple times I felt pretty stupid that I ever doubted her haha. She’s a powerhouse when used correctly. Also, well done!

She's a sage. Very rare throughout the series but downright dangerous when they do make an appearance.
Aerith politely asking a giant dragon if he'd "mind backing off a bit?" before casually slaying him is a thing of true beauty.

Glad you used Parry on Aerith! Folks sleep on how good Aerith's Parry is, though with how good Cloud and Tifa's Parry is, can't blame 'em 😅
Parry is fabulous on Aerith. I highly recommend it for her in all fights

So preferably, it be recommended that I have all materias equipped for Aerith to be maxed out completely in order for this whole method to work?
I don't get it. I tried this same setup and her ATB gauge is not even close to filling up as fast as is in this video.
You've got to redo the run coz I don't see the chair...I kid I kid😆 Superb run as always. Magic is so op that it's become Aerith's Gotterdammerung
Magic is strong, but as you can attest to from your recent mage build runs with Cloud, there are enemies that make magic a pain. I think enemies in part 2 will get more annoying with reflect or magic nullifiers.

@@cloudcs I'm testing it out, but so far it's only slowed her down. Refocus is ok, but losing the fury ring has really made an impact.

@eduardovargas3814 no you don't need full 2 atb. In fact you can drop the first strike materia completely if you want. I just like it for a quick start

Something is off here with these videos. I don't know what it is, but trying to time even the Shiva fight, there's literally no chance at her not getting up after the first pressure and putting up Frost Familiars while I'm getting ready to just throw fire at her, which takes no time to throw.
There was a new patch a few days ago that may have changed some combat elements. I'll jump on and give it a test

@MS-yd4oj I just tested it and it works. I'm thinking you aren't using the skill master materia right.
Gotta use 3 different abilities and you'll get atb refunded to you. For example the Shiva fight:
I used arcane ward, fire, and fira for atb refund. I spam fire after cuz she's basically dead after
@@jianuzziah, thanks! I am not at all used to using those atb materias for atb boosts. I've been grinding bosses to good old hard way. This is the only trophy I'm missing. But now it makes sense, cause I totally forgot about the atb boosts! Thanks again, will give it a try. 👍😊
