I have a G6. I left it on top of my car's roof and drive off. 5 hours later I realized it wasnt lost, but most likely on the side of the road. I gps tracked it about 1/4 mile from my house and the screen was broken. The back of my thin case and pop socket had rock divets on them, so I knew it had gotten run over. I got a new screen and battery installed and it still works, I'm still using it.

Souls aren't very resistant they scratch at level 2 with deeper grooves at level 3.
I have a dbrand skin on my Nexus 6p. Helps keep it from spontaneously breaking in half.
Don't breathe too hard on it. Those dovetail joints don't play around.
A wood grain skin would have worked well with those.

yeah the dreaded kink by the power/volume. Happened to me, luckily amazon let me return it for a full refund 6 months later. Never again go Huawei, they wont honor their warrantys and are cheaply/poorly made.

One question, which is stronger, the nokia 6 or G6?
well they performed pretty much the same in all the tests except that the Nokia 6 has a cloth speaker grill so I'd say G6, but we should not forget that the N6 is like only 1/3 the price of a G6.

This phone actually really impressed me. I have an iphone 6 rn and i love it, but i'm soon going to be upgrading, and theres no way in hell im getting an iphone 7, i love my music AND headphone jacks. I think after this durability test (cause i drop my phone a lot) this phone seems very pleasing to me!

I bought the LGG6 but man this video really bothered me to watch. But knowing how durable it is makes ms feel so much better that I sent my S8 plus back.

With Spigen case - super durable set and it covers all the issues mentioned with lens protection and direct contact with the screen when resting face down :-) Got it, like it very much. Nice test.
i hope this doesn't get lost, because i would really like you to do a durabilioty test of the fairphone 2. i think its a really cool smartphone idea and could really help getting the idea more public

hello jerry , pls make a video about the LG G6 camera glass , it seems that it has some kind of coating on the glas and after 2 days of using with a case i got some pretty nasty scratches , it seems that around the world all the people has this problem...a guy had found a solution , he used a polish of aome kind to remove the darkish coating ( black model has this.problem ) and it came off and the camera lens its ok now...but this is not ok , LG shouldnt leave this shitty coating on the glass lens that attracts this many scratches...thanks

Jose Garcia yep , i have the black one also , i've read on some tech forum that one guy had removed the coating with a " scrach remover " compound and a small polish brush , it even made pictures with the first half.of the lenses that had the coating removed , it looked beautiful after that , no scratches no problems , i didn't triyed until now , maybe jerry will show us how to do it :)
