      @@the_rush_to_nothing I didn't know they had a brake duct option for many other models. That's cool!

      Depends on the definition of close, but personally I would say no not quite.

      @@workingclasscustoms were you there this past weekend, August 3? There was an Aprilia there, like yours, we were having fun and that thing sounded good.

    Brakes are first and foremost the most important with suspension a close second

    • @workingclasscustoms

      You definitely need a good working set of brakes! It's very difficult to ride safely around a racetrack at a quick pace if you can't slow your bike!!

      Most people just change pads and fluid. People who are faster than me, and probably faster than you.

      I agree with that, I'm definitely not fast enough to warrant a full change like this without the old ones not working.

    Brakes before suspension is crazy

    • @workingclasscustoms
      @workingclasscustoms  3 месяца назад +1

      This is true, but when your light enough that you don't need resprung and your suspension has been adjusted accordingly, paired with a broken set of brakes, this is where you end up.

      I agree with you suspension before brakes. Especially upgrading the rear shock, most rear shocks are garbage and just destroy rear tires vs having a nice shock and tuned by a suspension tuner. Also upgrading suspension matters by the track. If the surface is bumpy and not smooth, then having fork cartridges will be huge improvement, if the surface is flat smooth then the time shaving wont be as great. For instance my buddy a pro rider, on his r6 he put down a .25 faster lap time then his k-tech dds. On my r6 I only have ktech rear shock, front forks are all stock with just fresh seals n fluid. Because our tracks are smooth here, im able to beat and compete with many of the fully kitted bikes.

      This is true, I want to say post 2015 the GSXR lineup came standard with brembo brakes.
