- Fusing with story characters and/or other players
- A Single player as fun as the multiplayer
- Legitimate Couch Multiplayer
- Ability to play as Giant Characters
- More Varied Gameplay
- More Story Characters (dragonball, z, gt, super etc. doesn't have to be as many as bt3)
- Better combat balancing
- Optional Side Quests that go with the story.
- It doesn't have to come out this year, delay it if you need to (do not make this a yearly franchise)
Just give me advanced combat, a good story like the last one and a good multiplayer and I'm ok

For people who want a remake of Budokai Tenkaichi 3 it ain't gonna happen.That game was published by Atari not the current holder of the rights to Dragon Ball games Bandai Namco.

Or they probably can, but they want to go their own way. Since Xenoverse was the bestselling DB game they think that Xenoverse 2 will sell better than a Budokai Tenkaichi 3 hd remake/remaster.

REALLY glad this is getting a sequel. I wanted to like the original more, but there were just enough annoyances to make me put it down. Hoping to see some improvements.

The scene at 0:50 and 0:54 look pretty good. But, these are just cutscenes. If you look at the real gameplay in the Japanese trailer the graphics are exactly like the previous game, which shows that they just put up more stories in it, there won't be a major change in the graphics.

It looks like we will be revisting some eras we already experienced last game but it will be featuring characters we didn't meet then aka Zarbon and Dedoria but other then that looks like some Dragonball movies will be included as we saw Lord Slug

People saying Budokai 3 or Budokai Tenchaichi 3 is better then Xenoverse are obviously drunk on Nostalgia, while i also enjoyed those games i can see that they are highly outdated and dont compare to Xenoverse in terms of battles and scale.. Xenoverse has its issues sure, but at the same time Dragonball Z is known to have fights going on all over the place, and the older games dont really do that whereas in Xenoverse, they give you a massive battlefield which makes Xenoverse feel like a real DBZ game in comparison. DBZ games in general have an issue of button mashing and i feel like its something hard to fix in a fighting game like this then it would say Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat, the games are completely different but are also set in the same genre. I honestly dont blame Bandai not being about to 100% perfect the fighting in these games because it so complicated to perfect in a fighting game as big as Dragonball Z games are when it comes to actual gameplay.
What im hoping for in this game is that theres way more character customization options, Less RNG for item obtaining in missions, making transformations return to old style instead of wasting a move slot for it and giving us less verity of the move pool ,fixing the transformations hairstyle e.g going super sayian but having the same hair style you chose when in base form instead of having it stick up if you had long hair & giving us more transformations rather then just Super sayian 1 and 2 which are essentially the same appeal wise.
No just no. You are obviously some kid who only cares about character creation. Budokai 3 and Tenkaichi 3 were challenging. Xenoverse 1 isn't. Yes B3 and Bt3 aren't perfect in terms of balance but Xenoverse is just completely broken. Xenoverse is completely unbalanced and in the end the character with the better stats will win unless they completely suck at the game. The cpu ai is the one of the worst in any DBZ game. They will only fly around and fire little ki blast at you and then use a evasive attack every time they get hit. They will run out of stamina and then you pretty much one the fight. B3 and bt3 are better fighting games and better DBZ games because they are both faster pace. Yes when you are playing with a fiend that Is good online Xenoverse can be fun but not B3 or bt3 fun. Yes characters in bt3 are copy and paste but so is Xenoverse. Just like bt3 every character have the same combo inputs but with minor differences. Try again

i can beat xenoverse in a day just turn ssj and spam my attacks this game aint challenging or good as those games, its not nostalgia its fact.

looks great,the graphics are remarkable,the story still kinda look the same,and a good touch on the toki-toki city...I give it a good 8/10 so far,can't wait.
I'm pretty sure Dimps can make the game look as good as it did in those CG cutscenes. We're on Next gen consoles for God's sake.

+Jayz Gucci a lot. Raging blast has a much larger roster. It's more built to be a fighting game than an action game. There are more maps. A story mode following the actual DBZ canon. So yeah, there is a difference.

so excited! i loved XV and i even managed to platinum it. i think XV is the best dragonball game we will get. all they can really do from here on out of improve the mechanics, have a deeper combo system and more customization options. 3D arena based is how dragonball z is meant to be played. though a DBZ game in the style of marvel vs capcom would be great too

There's no last gen for this game on its announcement so I'm guessing the visuals of the game will improve and most importantly, the gameplay because the gameplay if xenoverse 1 was broken. Especially when it lags out lol.
