- "Be good to people, because when you are good to people, people are good to you." says, Florence Villiers, owner of Café Flo - one of the most popular eateries for the urban elite in Karachi.
Florence Villiers has not had what you call a regular old life. Being born in France, she hitchiked across several continents (01:00); was jailed in a Pakistani prison (01:59); fell in love with the son of the legendary Madam Noor Jehan (03:00); raised a family in Pakistan (06:21), and of course, founded one of Karachi's most popular restaurants, Café Flo (08:47), later helping her son, Sikander Rizvi establish Xander's Cafe (10:59). Here is her full conversation with VCast, and it is quite the story.

Amazing woman. Pakistan is definitely coming up
First time I’ve heard a French woman who built a successful life in Pakistan. Generally it’s the other way round. Impressive!
This is probably the best things I've watched today, thanks vcast for bring this to us!
About five years ago i had dinner at your place with my family and it was excellent. Couple of years ago i went with my family to have dinner and i was surprised to learn that the the whole place was full of cigerette smoke which is very unusual for a top class French restaurant. So we came back.
I do hope that Cafe Flo can keep up with old traditions
She brought charm to Karachi, after the original classy gentleman, the owner and forefather, Mohd Ali Jinnah. RIP
Thank you for capturing such an inspirational story through your lens
Such an inspiring entrepreneur!
Such a humble lady. Down to earth. Thank god she isn’t infested with the arrogant snobbish discriminating attitude and nature of nur Jehan and her family
Nice and interesting Interview.
Thanks

What energy!
Why they are threatened to be close down?
Great women
Admirable but imagine if she was African or Chinese... no one works treat her so well :/
A complete lady.
Europeans are always better to work for, Pakistanis etc are difficult, restrict employees ,mistreat their employees, they live in climate of fear.
