Going Public: The Organic Meat Company Limited

- “A product that is considered useless in Pakistan, but we’ve been using it to earn foreign exchange for the country,” says Faisal Hussain, CEO of The Organic Meat Company Limited, reflecting on the huge market opportunity for animal by-products.
Faisal is a fourth-generation businessman and a gold medalist from the IBA Karachi, focused on making his mark in the halal meat and livestock processing industry as a Pakistani exporter.
Now, The Organic Meat Company has its eyes set on expansion and is gearing up for its IPO - which will be the first IPO of the year on the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

Brazil is largest exporter of halal meat in the world and its not even a muslim country. Pakistan can be the largest exporter of halal meat but we need to have the right systems in place and government support

Where we can learn to exprt meat?
I am in Qatar since 6 years and doing job an semi government Meat company.. and what i learn during this period when we pakistani cut our animals we dont know about the parts which one is profitable .. Like Tenderloin, Striploin, Topside, Silver side, Rump, Ribs, Short Ribs, Knuckle, Shoulder, Brisket, eye round, cube roll, Chuck ... these all cuts comes from the one animal,.. also very big demand in Qatar pakistani beef 4 Quarter.. he is rite when we slaughter our animal during Eid ul Adha hum kehtay hai bhai booti choti or gol banana ..
