Dan (Becky's father) goes to beat up Becky's boss for being grossly disrespectful to her, but Mark (Becky's boyfriend whom Becky's parents don't approve of) has already taken care of the creep. Dan goes over and tells Mark that the next time something like this happens, Mark better check with Dan first.
Back at the Conner's house, Mark knocks at the backdoor which annoys Roseanne. Dan sticks up for Mark because Mark stuck up for Becky. Roseanne is impressed but wants to know why Dan didn't beat up Becky's boss. She tells Dan he should give Mark some more work. Becky and Mark start fighting in the living room. She is furious with Mark for what he did. She refuses to leave with him and then kicks him out. Roseanne says she misses him already.

I love how on ROSEANNE they actually ate the food and didn't just pretend or play with it.

Sex and the City they leave full drinks (a martini in Manhattan is over $20) On 90210 I still remember a scene where Donna just pinches her piece pizza the entire scene. Never takes a bite. It’s totally stands out to me when they actually eat.

Glenn quinn was a great actor.
Rashanda Grier. He was a great realistic actor with the work given to him. Just sad he chose drugs. and i wish he got help to get and stay clean. May he continue however to now rip and always be remembered for keepin'many of us laughing on ROSEANNE.

i heard in early 2000s so sad still but him on roseanne make me smile/laugh each time .would've only been in his forties if born 1970s. so sad rip. When someone the size of John Goodman is mad at you, yeah, you have a serious problem, haha. I love the show Roseanne, but to me it would have never been anything without John Goodman. He made that show. What an incredible actor he is.

It's not just his size but his demeanor and how he carries himself, not to mention that he yelled on that show he was LOUD. All that makes for someone quite scary.

It's funny because Mark had this rough and tough guy image but he' was a very selfless character that did whatever he needed to do to support the ones he loved. And David was the sensitive artistic one that turned out to be lazy and selfish. Who would never lift a finger for someone else if it might inconvenience him in the slightest. Moral of the story you can't judge a book by its cover.

You know it’s weird. Although the series finale of the original series was a controversial one, the thought of Darlene being with Marc and Becky being with David is an interesting one to wonder. In some ways it makes more sense. While I liked Darlene and David as a couple, she did boss him around and he lacked the backbone to stand up to her more harsh attitude. And like Marc really did love Becky, I wonder if their marriage would have been more smooth if he had been as sensitive like his brother.

This episode is the one where I really started to not like Becky as a character. She really showed her true colors by freaking out over what Mark did for her. How unfortunate that Becky didn't see he was doing something selfless to protect the one he loves. The way Lecy Goranson portrayed Becky was as a selfish, entitled and snotty brat who was never grateful for what anyone did for her. Maybe that's how her character was supposed to be played, but it really made me not like her at all. Darlene was always my favorite character. Becky was just irritating.

I own season 3 of the show. they didn't like mark because his punk like attiude. Dan conner was just like him at one point but not wanting becky making the mistakes they made.

MIS315 There are other words to describe Becky that aren't so crude. Spoiled, Brat, Entitled, B...., Little Sh.., really, the names are endless, however, the C word should never be used, especially when talking to one of your underage employees, regardless of how you may feel or think about said employee. Dan should have punched that creeps face in.

You know,,,,,,I watched Roseanne from the very first episode, I can vividly remember bleaching and cutting up a pair of Levi’s while watching the pilot. Through it all I never liked Mark at all. I thought he would be Beckys downfall, and turns out I was right. But I always like the way Glenn Quinn played him, rebellious punk, or dim witted screwball! I was so sad when I heard he had passed away. RIP Glenn Quinn
