Honestly, I think had they kept Kathy’s character around longer that Roseanne would’ve ended up winning her over as a friend in the end. That could’ve been a fun storyline to play around with.

Her husband answered. I told him to tell her the dogs are inside at night, they bark during the day occasionally as all dogs do, and what more did she want. Hasn't complained since.
It was implied they could have been in Kathy's last scene the look Kathy gave Roseanne after she implied that they could have been if given the chance.
I think there would have been a better chance of Hell actually freezing over, than Kathy and Roseanne ever becoming friends. It would never have happened.
Nah they really just flat-out disliked like each other. It was only for the sake of their sons that they put up a reluctant display of cordiality in the end. But there was no love lost and certainly no chance of a friendship ever developing.

There was another where a guy had two teenage girls move in and Darlene had an issue with one of the girls and the other girl seemed to be a sweetheart who liked Roseanne. They didn't last one season either. I, myself, would have Loved living next door to Roseanne! 🥰🥰😋😋
You're talking about Ty Tilden, and his daughters, Charlotte and Molly. Darlene had a problem with Molly because she thought, rightly or wrongly, that Molly was trying to have a relationship with David. Charlotte, the older daughter, was a sweetheart.

Kathy is one of those neighbors you love to hate her acting was on point incredible her character couldn’t stand Roseanne this was amazing performance.
