Roseanne, the actress NEVER moved on. The character was UNJUSTLY written off. I rather watch the Walker rewrite over the Connors.

This is the epitome of pre internet life. Simple, everyone knew the same jokes and shows so we all were on the same page. Wholesome and clever. Never will it be this again. Glad I was an 80s kid.

That was one of the best sit coms ever. The cast and writing was excellent. Rosanne is a genius. .. and like all geniuses,... she can be a little off in dealing with the regular population. I wish she would create some more content soon. 👍👍🙏🏼👍💥✨✨✨✨✨
The part I remember always laughing at in the scene where Roseanne pretends to get shocked by the toaster is when the kids walk in on her fixing her hair that way and she just goes " . . . I've got a hot date!"
The original Roseanne show to me is the best realistic family sitcom I've ever seen. John Goodman and her were perfect as a struggling down to earth blue collar couple just trying to get by.. The relationship between Becky and Darlene was as authentic as two sisters could have. Arguing, shouting, making fun of each other and talking about boys and school stuff, puberty issues, first dates...they covered it all. I couldn't see any acting, (when actors don't sound like they are reading off and relying on the script to give their characters a personality, that to me is great acting) it sounded and felt like genuine emotions when they spoke...it was like listening in on a real family's life...with very witty humor.. Aunt Jacky had her issues with insecurities and choosing bad dates, being at their house to much and irritating Dan. Often hilarious that tension... The relationship between Jacky and Roseanne was complicated but believable as sisters that argued, but undoubtedly needed each other. I loved that family growing up. I still love the early episodes as much as back then. She was extremely clever, witty, and truthful. Her show pioneered a lot. I respect her tremendously for being bold. She made a comment on Twitter, I don't give a damn...The Connors without Roseanne was ridiculous. To even think of continuing without her would make me feel betrayed by the actors that were given a stage because of her. That's my take on it.

I remembered parts of this in my childhood. It’d be the the only thing to watch until Power Rangers would play next but my mom would tell me to do something for her real quick. I realized she did this so I wouldn’t get traumatized.

COZI, please start presenting the show in its original aspect ratio. When you enlarge the center to fill the edges of the modern aspect ratio, too much picture material is lost from the top and bottom of the scene. I watch the show on CMT. They know to show it correctly.
