Dragonfly V2 with iNav, Brushless Delta Ray Conversion, and More - Let's Tech!

- My first video of 2021, and in it I'll review the Joysway Dragonfly V2 and go over my installation of FPV, a GPS flight controller, and iNav software. I'll also detail my current project, a custom painted HobbyZone Delta Ray that I'm laminating, converting to brushless, and installing an FC and iNav into.
Fixed wings have taken over! I haven't built a quad in over a year, can you believe it? I have iNav builds going on in places I didn't know I had!

I hope you enjoy this new style of content. It's far faster and easier to get published, and I want to start bringing more voice-over to how-to's and DIY projects than before. My struggles with iNav and Betaflight, FPV installations, autonomous flight, and more will be coming this year, stay tuned!
So glad to see you are still flying. Stay safe and take care
"Flying" is too generous, my friend. Perhaps "Blinking away all the sweat in my goggles while trying to keep the wings attached"? But you know me, Brother - the build is where the fun is. Open source software pulled from github, nights spent getting bluetooth to work so you can tune your plane with your phone, but bring the laptop every time. Two RTX 3090's... running Minecraft. ô¿ô
But being able to say that I have a fleet of fully autonomous FPV quads, and planes the size of my forearm? Pretty sick my dude. Hatchback Life!
Miss you guys, hoping it all goes well brother.
@@GhostRyderFPV I'm really happy for you. We are doing well and I hope to introduce you to my newest family addition one day. I Miss you more than I can put into words. Take care, God bless, I hope we can talk soon.
Man the mini Sky Hunter on the shelf looks bad ass.
The Sky Hunter is all decked out since you last saw her, my dood! INav on an F4 Omnibus, a PT, 1W on 5.8ghz, and X8R. SunnySky 2212 pushing a 9x4.5 using 3S3P 18650 9000mah is too long a flight time for 5.8ghz I've learned, lol
i love it❤️❤️
Coating the foam with medium CA glue is much easier and stronger. Just apply it with a brush.
I had a SkyHunter I did that with, basically coated the bottom of the fuse for landings. It held up for a bit, but cracked due to being brittle, and eventually yellowed. The laminate is flexible, and won't react with water the way CA will (seaplane). I still use a liquid coating in places, on this plane the area surrounding the camera is coated in UV resin, rather than lam, so I can change it out.
Thanks for popping by!
Nice! Can you share a link for these laminating film?
Happy to oblige, I'll try to post one (but RUclips usually will remove links, so I'll put it in the description as well)
