My MT 1501 works like a charm. It was my 1st ever embroidery or sewing machine, started with no knowledge and easily learned by doing projects and jobs. If there's any questions you have about anything let me know.
Thank you for the video, Romero. I, know very little about the embroidery business. Just like you, I'm doing my research, to eventually buy an embroidery machine. I agree with you about buying high-end machines. Buy quality and reliable equipment otherwise, you will outgrow smaller machines fast. I'm also buying a sublimation machine in a month or two. I will start with sublimation and work my way to embroidery as I learn more about the business and the machines available. Thanks again for the informative videos
Great video sir! My go to is you tubers that actually use the machines. I trust your review and subscribed. I first look at the negative posts on a company and Ricoma has a few negative posts against them. But your review here makes me look at Ricoma in a positive way. Customer service is a big game changer for me also. I was quoted on the TC 1501, but you made a good point on getting bigger if can. I hope all is well for you in these days we're living in. Do work. Peace
So glad I saw this today... I went to Ricoma yesterday to get the 1501and now think I am getting the MT-2001. I have no background, so I am worried if I can pull it off and if I'm picking the right company.... you helped me seal the deal. Thank you
Hi Romero Thank you for this video. Thank you for your services God Bless you and your family. I'm actually purchasing my MT1501 so expect a lot of questions from me. You need a email for us to send pictures of our work to get your feed back. Also Ricoma is running a great deal on their machines as we speak. It's the Black November sale. Thanks again
Looks like an honest review...I am getting ready to make a purchase...my first Ricoma sucked at caps...out of frustation I threw out the cap frame and cap hoops....maybe it was bad luck but I do need to make caps...is between this Ricoma MT-1501 and a Meistergram 15-needle. So you are happy with your machine for CAPS?
I gave up on the 1501 - I purchased a ZSK and man it blows the Ricoma out of the water. I can't tell you how many caps I wasted trying to get a decent sew out with the TC-1501 and it was always subpar to the point I stopped offering caps for sale. After 1 day with my ZSK i am taking orders and selling caps! Ricoma is a basically a hit or miss. (The 1501 was my second machine I had a tajima before this and I got sucked in by the Ricoma marketing, so before someone asks if I have expereince I do)
Congrats on your new machine. All we do here is mostly hats, we have 2 machines that pump out work all day. Thank you for your comment and sharing your experience.
my wife and i love your videos. We purchased the mt 1501 for her and would like to know what brand of thread do you use? what speed are you able to run your machine at and still get a nice stitch and less thread and bobbin breakage? she would love to find a brand of thread that will accommodate speeds over 600 (she currently is trying out brothread but she gets constant breakage (even adjusted tension) with any speed over 600) thank you
Thank you for the message! I use Madeira and Candle Thread. I usually run flats at 700 and under. And go lower for hats and 3D puff. Ive haven’t used Brothread.
Ive based my business around my Ricoma machine and been able to crank out some pretty big orders for the past couple of years. Ive never used any other machine so I cant tell you if its better than the others. But if you have any questions about the Ricoma MT 1501, let me know.
Thank you for your service, I just found your channel and am a new Subscriber. I am new to embroidery and look forward to seeing your projects. I purchased my machines to focus on hats too, I’m really interested to see your hat hoops in action. Back in the day, FC2 USS Valley Forge CG-50.
I haven't ran the numbers on the machine by itself. We do run other equipment that pull way more power. The machine doesn't draw too much compared with other items.
Hello Romero Just like you I don't know any thing about embroidery. Okay what get me is how do you get width and length . Do start 1inch and convert to mm? OR do I measure it on screen with ruler? Please help out
New to your channel!!! My husband and I just started embroidery this fall and we're in the burbs of Chicago. I'm looking forward to gleaning from watching your videos.
@@RomeroThreads Do you find your setup; your setup the best for your workflow; what would you change if you had to; I will be receiving my 1501 in a few days and trying to get an idea of how to optimize my work flow and space.
My #1 recommendation is to have the least amount of clutter, unnecessary equipment and junk in your area. We usually keep 2 blank tables to use as working space. That way we have space to place garments and materials per projects. We have a good amount of space so our blanks are shelved on the opposite side of our room.
Thank you for your message. I use the major vendors that are quick with shipping and require a resale license. Here in the states SS activewear and Sanmar are my go to supplier. Merry Christmas to you too!!
Thanks for the question, I can only speak on my own experience. My machine runs everyday, mostly 3d puff hats. Sometimes one negative review can outshine all the numerous positive and successful testimonials. Sometimes the negative reviews is by someone that doesn't own the machine so its hard to get a true review. But like I said, Im sharing my true experience and thats really all I can do.
Just Speaking for myself , if I had this and it worked as advertised ,it would literally be like a money machine for me ..I just wanted to know if this machine is sufficient for embroidery on plush sweatsuits and denim . If it isn’t what would you recommend to accomplish that
Hello, according to my warranty it has a 5 year limited warranty that includes 5 year warranty on main drive components, 3 year warranty on electronics, 1 year technical labor and lifetime technical support via phone or email. You can contact them directly to get all the up to date info, they are easy to work with, thanks.
Is there a question in here? This is my experience with the company and I can only give my opinions . If there's anything you want to know that I missed let me know.
The Ricoma Embroidery machine community is lucky to have so many that are willing to help others. You are great example of our community!
Thanks for the message, the more quality knowledge out in the internet world, the better.

Thank you for your honesty and real review. Also, for your service to our country. I've learned a lot from your videos. Again, thank you.
I'm looking into getting my first multi needle. I keep coming back to the Ricoma

Thank you so much for all of your videos!
You are so welcome!

You are welcome!
Awesome ! Have two small machines. Need direction to have success.
Just purchased my 1502 today! I will be on your page religiously.
How is it working for you so far?
my biggest question is why you chose the Ricomo over other options.... I do love your videos..... I also do heavy heavy research....
Easy price, easy payments, good company, good support. Ive seen it do hats and that was my main thing to embroider.

Do you have a video showing you actually using the machine and the results you achieves?
I have about 200 videos, what garment do you want to see get embroidered.
We would like to demo our Happy Japanese embroidery machines for you, in case you ever want to upgrade in the future. We love your content.
Thank you for your service! My son is in the Navy as well 🤗
Hello, you must be very proud. Thanks for the comment.
Is the Ricoma better than other brands? Thank you for your channel.
Ive based my business around my Ricoma machine and been able to crank out some pretty big orders for the past couple of years. Ive never used any other machine so I cant tell you if its better than the others. But if you have any questions about the Ricoma MT 1501, let me know.
As soon as you said “I don’t have the homie hookup”, I knew we’d be cool. 😂
You make good sense. thanks for the help.
I’m thinking about purchasing a Ricoma from someone personally. I wonder if tech support is still available for me if I don’t buy new?
The warranty is not transferable. But regular tech support over the phone should be good.
Thank you for your service, I just found your channel and am a new Subscriber.

Thanks, will definitely have more hat projects.
I just saw a video of the hat lady complaining about the machine, Was so loud not sure if it’s a video enhance or it’s really that loud?
I'm following you since you started your channel, your information is really valuable and has given me the confidence to proceed with MT 1502.
Thanks, Im glad the videos are helping.
Thanks for the video!
I have a question… How much would you say the annual power consumption on this unit is, based on your experience?
I haven't ran the numbers on the machine by itself. We do run other equipment that pull way more power. The machine doesn't draw too much compared with other items.
Hello Romero Just like you I don't know any thing about embroidery. Okay what get me is how do you get width and length .
Do start 1inch and convert to mm? OR do I measure it on screen with ruler? Please help out
Yes, I first adjust the design to the correct size in inches, then I measure and digitize in mm. The software has a ruler you can measure distances.
Thanks for the information!
great video
Thanks!

Welcome to the embroidery world!!!
eXcellllent vid. thanks Amigo!
Great video and I enjoyed the review from a long time owner
I want to embroider on bags, what kind of embroidery machine I should use?
Love your videos, very professional, just bought a ricoma 1010, went a little cheaper. Are they good for hats?
Thanks!! I don't have the 1010 but Ive seen people knock out some nice hats. Congrats and good luck on your machine.
We ordered the MT 1501 - can it do these other items you are describing?
Congrats on your new machine. Everything on my channel is done on the MT 1501. Let me know if you have a specific garment question your talking about.
Is that background a set or is that your actual production area?
Thats our actual production shop.

Hey thanks for making this video. Do you happen to have any recommendations, where to buy blank quality hats in downtown LA, Ca I appreciate it
I don't. I find it better to buy online and hit the minimum purchase amount to get free shipping.
Thank you for your fabulous videos. How do you find a quality supplier of polos T-shirts hats I’m from uk
Hope you have a very Happy Christmas 🎄

Whats the difference between the mt-1501 that you have to the RCM-1501TC-7S
The clearance is smaller on the TC model. The 1501 allows for more bulky items.
Seen some negative videos on Ricoma on RUclips. Whats your take on that?

SS Activewear and SanMar
@@RomeroThreads thank you !
Good video thanks
Great information! Thanks bro!
Great information!
Thank you!!
Some one told me that Ricoma machine doesn't stop when the Bobbin thread runs out. Is it true?
Not true. I get a stop and alert when bobbin runs out.
Great
How is the machine running now?
My machine runs like a champ. Still good, running 3D puff everyday, at least 5 times a week.
You'll get your PhD in embroidery soon!!!
Lol, good one. Yea, that what it feels like sometimes.
Is the machine good or not ???????
My machine is great. My new review is coming soon, 3 years with my machine.

How heavy is the machine? I would need to put it in the basement
Its pretty heavy. You need 2 big guys or 3 people to carry it up or downstairs. Im not sure of the exact weight.
Thanks ..
What is the cost of this machine?
How long is it under warranty?

where is the review of ricoma itself? here is only general speaking about anything but mt 1501.
What is your question about the review. I went in pretty deep and if you want any additional information you can ask.
Deep into the abyss.
You sound like a representative of their company. Everything you said is opinion based.
Is there a question in here? This is my experience with the company and I can only give my opinions . If there's anything you want to know that I missed let me know.
