- Showing off how versatile Spire can be. I made a little tribute to all the dance producers back in the days :)
All synth sounds are made with only spire and all its inboard effects! only drum samples is not from spire. Its mostly Roland TR 909 samples to make the project sound even more old school.
Soundbank of 44 presets is finished.

This video was what made me want to check out Spire a long time ago. For me, that meant ReSpire since I am a long-time Reason nerd (originally starting off in the 90's when it was all about hardware). That means that I was a Spire fan since before even trying it myself, and ReSpire is my #1 choice for almost any sound needed. The first softsynth that proved better than the Virus Indigo we had in the studio. Thanks for making me discover it! :)

Thank you! I was born in 92, but i still was diggin deep in the trance world at a very young age and it was this music that made me a producer to this day.

Amazing! I have long wanted to make these sounds but unfortunately I do not go! You have a great job! I really like Classic Trance music! With these sounds you can re-create old Trance mixes with a 4/4 beat with new remixes to make mixing of the beginning and end of the music!

Spire is one of the greatest software synths!
Not at all. If serum had more oscillators and flexibility, it would replace spire.
@@tracnemaker123 Hardly. Spire's effects are top-tier stuff (Serum's are not), and the multi-mode oscillators are awesomely flexible. Serum is useless if you want to do anything that sounds really retro or "classic," as it is incapable of getting a really analog or vintage sound. Serum is great for dubstep and the like, I don't argue. But Spire's sound in a wider variety if fields is simply superb.
That said, you're also forgetting Rapid for about the same price as Serum, I believe, and Rapid makes Serum look like a toy. Each of Rapid's 8 layers is more than a match for Serum on their own, and that's aside from the fact that Rapid also plays samples, does resynthesis, and the next (free) update is said to include granular synthesis as well. Rapid's effects are also very good, especially reverb and a couple of its own unique ones.
And at the end of the day, you're admitting out of the gate that Serum doesn't have enough oscillators or flexibility to replace Spire.
Don't get me wrong: I don't dislike Serum. If I were trying to be the next Skrillex I might invest in it. It's good for certain types of music, but outside of those boundaries its usefulness is fairly limited, especially considering the price.

@@overdrive5978 I haven't looked at that one. It depends on the sound you want. If you can spend a little more, Rapid is better and incredibly versatile, can play multisamples and do granular. If you need a big library of presets and want a modern sound, Spire is good. If you need to be able to do vintage sound, Zebra is unbeatable and also has a huge number of preset libraries available. All of them have free demos, so just try them out and have fun!
For me, all in all, Spire is my favorite VST ever.
@@overdrive5978 By the way, all of them (not so much Zebra) have sales from time to time, so wait for it. I have never paid full price for any VST or software except Zebra. Spire is on sale every couple of months. Rapid...probably Black Friday.

Hi Jonas, Reveal Sound have today released "Classic Dance Remake Sounds" which is particularly similar to your sounds. But there are noticable differences in sound when comparing it to your video (e.g. "What is love") so I´d like to know if this is actually your soundset - or if it is still going to come? Since I have purchased the mentioned soundset, let me say that (basied on your video), your sounds are much closer to the original than the Reveal-Sound-offering. Personally, I would really love to buy your set, because I can see much more benefit from it than from all the other 90s sets I own so far. Please reconsider your decision - and why not just release it by yourself? This video already has a quite large number of views and I am sure that many are interested, too. Thanks a lot. These sounds where just made for my own pleasure. I was thinking about release it, but there already a soundset that is pretty much the same as mine so I see no point in releasing it.
