That kind of moment is such that I crave for in many years...Seating in fron of the RB211, so close, listening to that deep echoing buzz-saw sound, added to the vacation I went on at the time.

Nice video. Nice information about the plane

RB211 !!!!!!!!!!!
Now that's the way to start a vacation! Good luck with your training!
RVNspotting Thank you mate!
Great video :)
Thank you :)
I always was curious what is that buzz like a dental drill machine. It's coming from engines when they run on maximal thrust during takeoff and climbing. Blades of engine compressor vibrate at supersonic speed, generating that noise. When airplane finished climbing to the cruising altitude, engine RPMs lowered and buzz fades out.
the ge90-115 same sound ge9x engine right
ricky Brown You can look for videos of the engine going through test runs. To me, they sound pretty similar.
those rb211 engine 74 inch cfm leap 78 inch engine airbus a321neo
and cseries pw1500g 73! inch largest engine world
ricky Brown That's incorrect; though that the PW GTF engine is quite large for it's applicants (A320neo, Cseries and other narrowbodies). The largest engine powering a passenger plane is the GE9X, measuring 134 inches. It will eventually power the new Boeing 777X series jets.
