It's one of the weaker songs, for sure. To be honest, they should have left it off the record, along with Am I Savage?, Murder One, and Confusion. Those 4 should have been on a subsequent EP a'la Beyond Magnetic. Had they done that, Hardwired would have been a leaner, much stronger record.
It’s just a matter of practising it and getting it tight. Tallica have proved their worth for decades now. They obviously don’t play this one regularly
I've been "playing" guitar for 20 years now and I still only know pieces of their songs even though they're the ones who got me to pick up the 6-string gat. They're doing just fine. Lars was right about Napster.
This is a great song, a lot more could have been made out of it. I think it suffers from having a really crummy video that doesn't do it any justice. All the more unfortunate with this song having the potential to have had a really poignent video too. The solo is one of my favorite Metallica solos and I've been listening to Metallica for about 35 years. They made a video for every song on this album, it seems as though they were worn out with videos when it came to this one's and they just couldn't be bothered.
If they had built the song around that beautiful intro made by Robert that would have been a masterpiece. I don't really care for the rest of manUNkind tho
It's okay if James struggles to play a song no one particularly knows or cares about hearing. On the plus side, it's interesting to see performance issues hashed out here the same way they would be handled by a band just starting out in a garage.
We have seen pretty bad signs. Kirk forgetting songs, James messing up quite a lot… Lars is Lars… And we barely hear what Rob plays because of his mushy bass sound.
ManUnkind is in my opinion, highly underrated song. so many channels disregard the song
It was always a "skip" for me after listening to the opening bit.
I always liked ManU Nkind too, but I can definitely see why it gets passed over

@ Agree with the EP idea, but Confusion stays. I like that song a lot
@@A_Final_Hit Agreed except for Confusion. Confusion stays.
Lars reminds me of a garage band drummer every time I hear him play.
At the end of the day, we are all only human and people sometimes make mistakes and are far from perfect.. Be gracious with others and with yourselves

You guys got this, you been doing for years 💥💥💥
The riffs to this song are super fun to play
WONDERFUUUUUUUULLL 🎸🎶🥁👏🙌🌹
Best band of all time.
John Lithgow's son playing the drums
lars with the triple snare gotta make it more accurate man, i know i'm only saying this from behind a screen but damn
It doesn't help that he's rushing the fuck outta it too so your not wrong. I was stoked when they finally did a live version video. To no avail .. 😂

@mungofinalfi4480 anywho...
They obviously avoid playing this song. For the above mentioned reasons most likely.
Bring back the heavy in metal guys. I miss 1989.
grow up
@@trick9037st anger fucking sucks
@@trick9037 Lol -- people stopped doing that since 1995.
@@Simrealism yeh they dont realise ppl dont want to make the same music evry fkn album
@@trick9037 I don't know about that, but 60 is the new 16.
Yeah, Ulrich really needs to be speaking through a microphone to be heard in the tuning room when his bandmates aren’t playing anything😒
It’s time
Totally agree
Lars should just cut the rest of his hair off. The Skullet doesn't work.
Lars "you guys set the tempo and I'll tap along " what a waste , the drummer sets the tempo .
I noticed that too. He's supposed to be the metronome, not them.
I was about to say the same exact thing
0:07 I get the joke James does good with King Nothing
👏👏👏💯💯💯
Bring back Jason come on guy's WAKE UP!!!
Jason said a few years ago that he's no longer physically capable of playing most Metallica songs even if he wanted to.

Am I the only Metallica fan who doesn't like anything after Load?
Not enough wah pedal 🤪
Hopefully they do not embarrass themselves and retire at a normal age unlike KISS or The Rolling Stones.

@tastysnivel : Rob peaked in ST.
As for the rest, they are all in their 60's which means speed and accuracy will be lacking.
They should have quit long time ago. Sad to watch them become this
