Presenting Bovet Timepieces of 2021

- Well, we definitely had a very pleasant week with all the Geneva Watch Days activity as well as hosting our small but very friendly 10th-anniversary celebration and we will soon come with a full video report about the entire thing, plus can't wait to make a very serious announcement when it comes to our next 10 years!!
So, in the meantime, we had the chance of visiting Bovet who participated indirectly in the event as they were located slightly outside of Geneva's city centre and we are very happy to bring you the video of the day highlighting all the main new timepieces presented to us.

To be honest, if I were fortunate enough to own a Bovet Amadeo, I think it would be a pocket watch 100% of the time. I really prefer pocket watches, but vintage pocket watches are so fragile and require so much service, and competently-made contemporary pocket watches are rare compared to wristwatches, so I greatly appreciate the many models of pocket watches made by Tissot (widest selection known to me), plus those from Orient, Bell & Ross, Omega, Philippe Patek, Panerai, Urwerk, Audemars Piguet... and Bovet.
Pocket watches are indeed super nice and you can find some really interesting deals on the vintage market and some are not so fragile ;) Best to you
Have to admit, not the greatest fan of Bovet, but do love the colour, the Turquoise guilloche dials especially are stunning.
Those dials are really amazing with this semi-transparent colour applied

A haute-horologie watch using sugar crystals of all things…didn’t see that one coming 😆 And Bovet went to all the trouble of developing and getting it patented too. Well that was a fun thing to do 👍 Sugar the 💎 of the future 😏

2:40, Marc, why the slope case, what is the functional/aesthetic reason, does it become easier to read the dial?
That’s indeed one of the reasons, but also makes their style instantly recognizable and therefore quite unique
I would associate Bovet more with Pagani, if you know what I mean. But I am certain they will make another interesting piece for the Pininfarina. With the sugar dials they have basically beaten Richard Mille at their own game :D
