- Andrew visits the Bovet watch manufacture, located within the Castle of Môtiers in the canton of Neuchâtel, Switzerland, to get a first-hand experience of what it feels like to commission a bespoke watch from the House of Bovet. After highlighting his favourite moments of watching the completion of the watch in-house from A-Z, Andrew meets with Bovet Fluerier SA Owner Pascal Raffy, as any of their clients would, to be presented with the final watch. They then get to the core of what Bovet is about, and what true luxury is.

Lovely to see taking an idea from scratch and receiving the watch at the Bovet home with two centuries of history.
Glad you enjoyed, thanks for watching - Andrew
Simply unbelievable.. Could inspire anyone to excel
❤ I'm truly moved by the depth and integrity showcased in this video, highlighting Pascal Raffy's profound philosophy and his generous spirit at Bovet. Raffy's embodiment of values and principles not only elevates the art of watchmaking but also serves as a beacon of inspiration. This piece isn't just a testament to the craftsmanship of Bovet but also a reflection of the noble ethos that guides their journey. Raffy's stewardship and heartfelt engagement with both his craft and his guests resonate deeply, offering a vivid reminder of the beauty in genuine connection and the pursuit of excellence. Personally, I am immensely honored to own exquisite pieces from Bovet, which adds a profound sense of pride and privilege to my experience.
One of the best videos I've watched on RUclips. Great work Andrew.
That’s too kind, thank you 🙏🏻
This type of storytelling is what makes T&T the best watch channel. I feel like you guys really stepped things up with the last few videos.
This type of comment makes our people the best people - thank you - Andrew
Awesome to see a video about one of my favourite watch brands. I visited the House of Bovet last year and it was an experience like no other before. It was just mindblowing to see all the different crafts and the love to detail.
That's incredible, great to hear you were also blown away - Andrew
What an incredible video. Before today I had never heard of Bovet Watches. Your video is what the watch journey is all about. An education, a tour, and a behind the scenes look at the creation of a piece of art....thank you
Thank you for watching! 🙏
Bovet is the company (and their piece the Orbis Mundi) that got me into watches. I didn't know they could be like that. There's a lot to discover in the watch world but personally nothing will ever come close to Bovet. I'll never be able to afford one but to appreciate them the story and their work like this is a joy, thanks for posting
This is the best, most emotional watch making video I've ever seen - I just got my first Bovet a few weeks ago and I have fallen madly in love with the brand. Thank you so much for your amazing work!
Damn, really?? What are the chances too, great to see so many Bovet lovers and owners in the comments - go well - Andrew
What a video…something I will now remember is this….”what you wear on your wrist is not a reflection of your wallet, but rather your education.”
Wasn't that a great line from Mr Raffy - I'll remember it too - Andrew
This was such an amazing journey! Well done Andrew! I literally shed tears when the watch was revealed. What a spectacular work of art! Thank you for sharing this.
Damn that’s some high praise ! Thank you for watching and coming on the journey - Andrew
@@Timeandtidewatcheslol. I meant the watch, but you're pretty awesome too!
I now have a new found respect for this brand. Excellent content. Thank you.
Great result, thanks for watching! Andrew
Stunning video about marvelous timepieces. Like a fairytale. So cool……
Totally is a fairytale, definitely a bucket list trip for watch lovers - Andrew
Overwhelming. I think this Bovet story takes us to the heart of one's personal life journey and how best to capture it in a watch. Once upon a time, Hans Holbein did similar stuff for Kings and Queens - but not watches.
Yes, the tradition of handmade and bespoke timepieces is not usually for mere mortals! Andrew
This is next level! You guys did such a good job bringing us on a journey with just the right amount of story telling, engineering, philosophy, everything. Really superb editing, pacing, and flow to give us that sense of thr Bovet experience. Out of curiosity which are the 10 brands that make their own hairsprings?
Off the top of head - Rolex (parachrom), H Moser (they supply to many indies and others), Swatch Group (nivarox), Bovet, Lange, Valfleurier (supply Richemont)
Time flies with or without timepieces
Congratulations Andrew, among the very best walks into and through an immersive and privileged horological experience. At some level it’s not just about the means but about the appreciation and passion for the best works of art, science, and love that we can make with our hands. And it is a shame we can only hit that thumbs up only once.
Thank you so much for saying that, Marcus and I knew we had to put in the hours on this one. Makes it so worth it to read a comment like this - Andrew
Great video, our owner was owner of the Bovet boutique in Monaco.👍
Absolutely incredible video. Loved the passion from Andrew and from everyone at Bovet, especially Mr Raffy. Thanks Tine and Tide!
That's awesome - he's a pretty singular guy, not many like him in the game for sure - Andrew
Absolutely beautiful. Heritage in and of itself is is useless. When a genuine watchmaker allows you to become a part of that heritage it makes it tangible.
Well said.
What a wild journey and amazing pieces!
Wild for watch geeks! Thanks for joining me on it - Andrew
Great interview
Beautiful video and beautiful timepieces. Thanks for a video that has pulled back the curtain of this particular maker and their art.
It was our pleasure, quite a day out! Andrew
One of the best manufacture vids I've seen to date. Not hyperbole. The choice of brand, incredible settings in castles, photography, and sequences start to finish. This was extremely entertaining. And now I want an OttantaSei more than ever. Nicely done.
That's very kind of you to say, especially if you've watched a few manufacture videos. They're actually not super easy to craft, as there's a lot of technical information. Appreciate you taking the time - Andrew
Actually teared up on that presentation
Appreciate you watching and getting into it - means a lot - Andrew
What a dream it would be!
Excellent video- good to see you again post AET.
Thanks for coming over to 'my house' - Andrew
I am completely Gobsmacked.❤️🙏
Special stuff, thanks for watching - Andrew
Very beautiful time piece 😍 truly a work of art 👍
Wonderful concept for this video and don’t think you could have chosen a better manufacturer (that word seems so inadequate). There’s such a beauty in the construction. Love seeing Andrew’s passion on full display.
🙌
Truly amazing, what a brand.
Great video. Just incredible.
Fairytale really for watch lovers - Andrew
That was awesome 👌🏻
Appreciate that, glad you enjoyed - Andrew
Excellent!!! I would like to see/hear about the latest oils used in watches.
They are so beautiful. It’s a shame they are able to make so few each year. I know it is part of the exclusivity but the world needs as much of this level of excellence as it can get.
Part of the beauty is the scarcity I would say - so few Bovet owners and wearers in the world - Andrew
Until this episode, I didn't realize that I need a Bovet. Clearly, I have champagne tastes on a kool-aid budget.
Same for now, but it doesn't hurt to have a dream - Andrew
❤
Bring back AET
Didn’t you posted this few hours ago? Why the reposting?
We posted with audio track muted - we need that sweet music
WOW
Thanks for watching!
nobody gonna mention the guy that wears his pants up higher than his belly button?

I like to eat a buffet.
😂
when you’re sick of the hype - watch a video where a chap compares seeing a watch being built as the equivalent of seeing his children’s first ultrasounds :D sorry but you’ve took the p**s out of less than that before
It’s a magical part of the process is the point - and maybe why we still love watches as more than machines, they have a heartbeat - not taking the piss on any level, the awe is real - Andrew
