Does she have similar issues as Clara? (I'm guessing yes) Like for example, in this PF4 1st half, the 2nd wave of enemies do not directly attack but instead use skills and have on death attacks instead. And then there's this mecha who only applies DoT debuffs. Neither trigger Clara's counter
You can watch a video on a channel called ruri goko, where using a Yunli team was able to get maximum points in the current PF first half, while on auto battle mode... The way her ult works is made to get around the problems that clara has...
Look i can see why people want it but I don't think we will have it. Because needing to time the ult is the only way in this game to have some form of urgency. They don't want you to take as much time as you want for deciding when to ult they want to make it like real time action. If you add ult cancel this urgency is taken away
@jaykhobrekar3619 how come when we do a skill or basic attack the character enters a stance, and then we do the attack. It should be the same for the ult. You should be able to cancel the ult stance
@@mcbill7352 we also can't do basic or skill inbetween turns of others characters or enemies so should ult also be limited to only when it's character's turn according to this logic?
@jaykhobrekar3619 what? No. When you use the ult the activation animation plays. It then comes up with red targeting reticles on enemies or allies depending on the ult. You should be able to cancel this first stance, and the ult action goes away
I run a Physical-Only meme team, and with absolutely no preservation characters and only Natasha for abundance, physical is desperate for sustain. Unfortunately I don’t really think Yunli can really count as sustain in any real sense:
Im gonna give her 2 multi. Sorry but feixiao hit all of my bottons. She might be a nice adventurine replacement in my fua team with robin and ratio, since i skipped him.
I've been using Clara as sustain for a loooong time, having something less rng-reliant will be a huge improvement. The devs are out of this world, it's definitely on purpose for this kind of playstyle when we look at the self-buffs and self-sustain, while still accomodating for the mainstream uses of hypercarry.
@@vault29a She is more fun, definitely stronger when executed right, and better at tanking because of the taunt. I already use Clara very little, I'll keep using her but probably less now. Greatswords are also cooler than lasers.
Thanks for the informative video. I know Hoyo was trying to make Yunli cute and funny with the huge sword but ... she is just not as heart tugging as Clara. Sadly, skip. I go for looks and feels rather than meta unit.
I have Clara E8 and I'm not using her at all. The DPS check in ALL high-level content except simulated universe makes her obsolete. Every time I'm trying to fit Clara into the team for top-level MoC or PF I fail the time limit or at least perform significantly worse.

@@keneunaegbu851 :sigh: I'm sure some people can beat it even with free chars, so no wonder Clara still can work relatively well in FuA-tailored content. The case is - even in the current MoC/PF my break/dot teams are doing better. As for FuA team, I get more benefits by adding a flex to Aventurine+Topaz+Ratio than trying to stuff Clara there. Clara does the damage when she's attacked. The damage is massive, but it could happen way too seldom with some enemies.
@youdontneedit9114 I mean, that just depends on the match-up. In PF, Clara is definitely better than Topaz + Ratio in every PF, and against the Argenti boss in the previous MoC, Clara + Topaz was also better than them, and previous MoC was break focused. Idk about dot, but you should be maxing out PF points with an E6 Clara, especially with a Robin and a second dps like Herta. I get she's not top tier, but she definitely isn't struggling to clear any physical weak content, so she's definitely worth using, unless you're a whale with multiple eidolons invested into other limited 5 stars. Even in the current MoC she's a great option against Argenti

Not as bad as clara. Yunli ult will always be an attack, even if its a mid intuit slash to a random enemy. Clara cant do that at all.

She still activates talent even if the enemy dies in his own attack (swarm guys basically, also those robots that explode)
I am so tempted to run a Yanquing, Yunli, & March 7th Hunt team with possibly a healer like Loucha. It sounds like it would be fun, if not silly.
