One of the first videogame OST I do and it was totally worth it. what a crazy song with diferent sections, exceling in musical performing and production.
This is a reaction/analysis video for mostly educational purposes and a lot of fun.

Fun fact: Casey Edwards is a massive Devil May Cry fan, and is a big fan of Vergil in particular. He didn't think he was going to ever get to compose/mix music for the franchise again, so he poured all of his energy into that last section of the song, as his own tribute to the character itself.
Crazy fact, it was definitely worth it!
They also told him to only use guitar in the chorus so he used synth for a lot
9 and a half minute song.
You: No no no no don't end.
I felt that.
See .... I knew that you'd love this song. 😂
Thanks for the reaction.
Glad to listen to your awesome suggestions, I was living under a rock til now 🤣
YOU'RE NOW MOTIVATED
You're not original!
Honestly, my favorite video game song in my entire life.
Victor borba's voice is breath taking!
Hey the song just made my cry when it just Said “BURY THE LIGHT DEEP WITHIN CAST ASIDE THERE’S NO COMING HOOOOME WE’RE BURNING CHAOS IN THE WIIIND DRIFTING IN THE OCEAN ALL ALOOOONE”
😱😱

@@Jhulian_R btw, that last melody of the chorus lines up with Devil Trigger's melody "Embrace the darkness that's within me"~
Yes, that song hits hard, but for me, it's a bit too epic for everyday listen while walking anywhere.
If you really liked Casey Edward's music, you should definitely analyse this game's Nero Theme "Devil trigger". It is much more dance/club, while having same ammount of energy and character description (20 yo dude that frantically swings sword more like a bat)
I can definitely see that 🤣 it's good maybe for an epic workout.
Thanks for the suggestion and insight, imagine being that 20 yo 😆
That last part is a great description, but I think you missed the most important part: his sword revs!
Woaah I didn't know this one was this crazy, and the way you broke it down was flawless!
😍❤️
This is one of the best songs of video games. Another song I recommend is called Devil Trigger and it’s for another character in Devil May Cry 5.
Say who, it's Nero!
This is by far my favorite reaction video of this song
Love you enjoyed it!❤️🔥
This song gives off such One Winged Angel vibes, it's wonderful.❤
This Theme is 👉🏻 🔥....!! very good 🎶.
BORN IN FLAMES, I HAVE BEEN BLESSED, MY FAMILY CREST IS A DEMON OF DEATH!!!!
🤘🏼🔥🤘🏼
This is one of the songs that starts it all
Fun note: Try listening this in the middle of a storm surge, it gets *2x harder* than it usually does~

At 15:10 there is similarity with another song from Devil trigger/Nero theme
I'm just a bit late (lol) but inspiration for this song came from Reptile by Periphery and is definitely also worth a listen.
Not sure if you would like but can you react to some OST from Guild Wars 2:Heart of thorns" some ost from that expansion are really good for setting the feeling "attack on tarir, main theme, jungle provides, aperture" those are good
I would definitely suggest ff14 shadowbringers it's absolutely amazing.
Added!
The "it's Victor right?" Absolutely slayed me outright..no my friend his name is Virgil lol. But you are right this character is epic
Damn 🤣🤣🙈
The character's name is Vergil with E, but the singer's name is Victor Borba
Check also Doom Eternal soundtracks
The only thing they fear is you
in particular :D
@@PogMcDog banger 👍
Another video game music recommendation is bloodborne
Oh definitely. Fromsoftware music is very high quality, and Bloodborne’s ambience is one of a kind. The DLC in particular has absolute bangers
Victor XD
He's wrong on the rest of the letters but he got the "V"~
@@DianaProudmooreVictor Borba is actually the singer of Bury the Light
