When you have a bad life, no one will pay attention to you, let alone care about you. There is an old saying in China that the poor have no one to ask in the busy city, and the rich have distant relatives in the mountains. This is very realistic.
I bought a ebike made in China which I have been riding for almost 3 years. No problem. Free delivery, include battery and battery charger, takes me from my home to downtown 15km each way on bicycle lanes. US company part sourced from China. I paid only $398 exclude taxes on sale from Walmart. Tell me why I should not buy it when similar ebikes downtown are listed at $5000+ or even $10,000+, tell me why I should not pay only $398 for it when the others are also made in China lol.....
I'll tell you why. Do you have a job? Where did you get the money from to buy the bike? From your job, right? Let's say you work for a bike manufacturing company in the US and one day you are out of a job because your company was dissolved due to unfair competition where a Chinese government-subsidized company has overproduced bikes and dumped them into the US market. Not only bikes, my friend, you look at all the consumer products in the market today and the majority of them were China-made. China's subsidies to its companies have had several effects on the US economy, including: (1) Job losses. While US consumers have benefited from cheaper goods, millions of US jobs have been lost due to import competition. (2) Unfair competition. China's subsidies have led to unfair competition in industries like steel and aluminum, where US products are undercut by lower-priced Chinese alternatives. (3) Industrial overcapacity. China's subsidies have led to industrial overcapacity, which can compromise supply chain resilience and lead to job losses. (4) National security concerns. Chinese investment in the US raises national security concerns, as China steals American companies' technology. In short, the Future of the International Economic Order and for that matter World peace rests on your decision to support/not support China's unfair economic practices...China has a number of economic strategies that destabilize the Western economy.
@@yolanda3144-z8k Tell me why is it unfair competition ? China let all Western companies come and manufacture whatever there ? Chinese are hard-working people. In order to win back manufacturers. We need to work like them, work harder, longer hours, and get payless than them. Chinese workers are concerned about their productivity and quality outputs for their companies. American workers are concerned about taking a break on time, work-life balance, going golfing, and having BBQ before the sun goes down.
Far too many people out there have far too much of a simplistic mindset to how manufacturing and production works - in believing that labor costs are the ONLY variable factor involved in the process of bringing a product to market. When we talk about a "supply chain", this is similar to the logistical supply that is needed to run an army, an airforce and a navy - having just the man power is not enough. Armaments, clothing, food, water, fuel, shelter, etc and the means to bring those to the men and women, all do not appear magically from nowhere to support the military personnel. So too, the manufacturing of goods and services and the means of production and bringing them to market in the most cost efficient way possible including timeliness in delivery from the tiniest of screws needed for the manufacturing of an article to the final presentation in a store near you. Low cost labor although a large chunk of a production cost comes from that, is not the only variable. Collectively, all the other costs combined can match labor costs alone and if any variable within the chain is unsecured, the total cost of the product can be astronomical - such as bad delivery schedules due to a lack of adequate infrastructure, can lead to lost opportunity costs in bringing a product to the market ahead of a competitor - or missing out on a peak selling season. Low labor costs with quality issue in production can also lead to warrantee costs and loss in goodwill and market confidence of a product or a brand - what is the use of bringing out a low cost product if no one wants to buy it in the end? The public sometimes assume too much. They hear that "labor cost too much" and that "labor unions are asking for too much money" and instantly think that this is where the primary problem in the cost of their product is derived when it is not even a quarter of the entire story.. Similarly, when they hear that "China is dumping their products in our country", I'd bet they never stopped to think, "now, just how are they doing that? Is China smuggling products into WalMart and KMart and sneaking those into their shelves? Without asking for payment? Or simply dumping their goods on our docks and leaving without any payment received?" Someone in our country has to decide to BUY those products first and make payments for them. If they don't. even if China offers the products for free, and no one wants to take them, how can China "dump" those goods on our shores? It is insipidly stupid to think of such in simplistic, naive and even a gullible manner and be sucked into propaganda hubris on any matter and I, for one, am sick and tired of it all.
The term "cheap labor" reflects the reality of your meager salary. However, in the eyes of these strange media, "rising labor prices" has become a completely bad thing.

@@snowlee-ml7rr Every time the West finds itself unable to compete due their own failed internal policies and failure to plan AHEAD, they'd try to find someone else to blame on their own incompetence. Japan was once targeted by the U.S. in the same way as the U.S. itself was once targeted by Great Britain after the American Revolutionary War. It is now China's turn to be used as a scape-goat. In business, there has been a saying - "When you fail to plan, you are actually planning to fail". This can be applied to Western governance where only short term plans are ever conceived for their election cycles of a few short years. This is no way to run a nation in the 21st Century where long-term planning on a total holistic manner right from birth of its population to education to graduation to suit into industries should be taken into account. In other words, a properly planned economy rather than one that is based upon "laissez-faire" and luck. We are moving further and further into the technological age of science and mathematics, of futuristic advancements and yet, we still have Western governments working along old 18th century methodologies. Actually the real threat of China is its people are willing to accept the lowest profit margin. America can and have been making everything China makes but just charges more. Rich consumers don't mind and will still pay for them but the majority would prefer lower price if they are available. China offers a cheaper alternative to everything. Over time the Chinese goods find the market the masses prefer. Solar panel is just an example. China has brought down the cost by over 95% so solar is now the cheapest way to generate electricity. It is even cheaper than running a thermal power plant that needs fuel. EV is the next example. The US and EU produce and sell EV as expensive toys that cost considerably more than the ICE cars. Chinese EVs are cheaper than ICE cars because they have less parts and a lot easier to make. In the long term when people realize EV does not need fossil fuel but just electricity to run they will eventually switch over.
At present, China is the only country in the world with a complete industry that can produce all the products it needs and the world needs. This position is based on China's overall mastery of 525 industrial categories, which include 39 industrial categories and 191 sub-categories. China's industrial system focuses on large and comprehensive, rather than high precision, which makes China the only country in the world with all the industrial categories in the United Nations Industrial classification. Although some may mention the United States, in fact, only China in the world has such a complete industrial system. Europe can also be seen as an organization with a whole range of industries if it can integrate the industrial strength of its member states, but only in the EU as a whole, not in individual countries. Therefore, when discussing countries with complete industrial systems on a global scale, China is unique
Tesla uses 213 of BYD's patents. The patents cover battery management, motor design, electronic control systems, and silicon carbide semiconductor technology, including fast charge technology, battery management systems, motor control systems, and vehicle control systems. By learning from these technologies, Tesla has achieved more efficient and faster electric vehicle charging, especially in the technical application of the 4680 battery, which has achieved significant performance improvement by integrating BYD's technical essence. In addition, Tesla's rotor oil pipeline design is highly similar to BYD's design, which is designed to reduce the resistance generated by oil agitation during the operation of Tesla motors
In any case, they have no chance of winning in the long run unless they lead the fourth Industrial Revolution completely or create a new system of development🤷♂️
@@后宫后 I am of the opinion that every country can do what China has done to develop the supply chain if it hasn't got it. The stumbling block is cost, availability of talent and materials. The last two can be made up by pouring more money into the industry. China has been successful and difficult to compete because China over the years has made everything competitive. Electrical power for instance is less than half of the US. Remember China in 1949 had nothing. When Richard Nixon visited China in 1972 the Chinese went around only on bicycles. In 1988 China was poorer than every African country except two. China has worked itself to today's position by sheer hard work and that is not something easily replicated by any country.

Which is exactly why Chinas ecomony is imploding. There needs to purpose to the hardwork, otherwise what is the point? Slavery never appealed to anyone, including the Chinese population but they are admittedly more conditioned to it. Anyway 10 more years there will be no need for ANY human labour at all, at that point its game over for the current economic concerns. I would imagine there is a global plan too depopulate already ongoing.

When Apple defeated mobile phone brands like Nokia, Siemens, Motorola, Ericsson, Philips, Sharp, Sony, and others, it wasn't an issue. When Germany, Japan, and the U.S. exported large numbers of cars, it wasn't an issue either. But when it comes to China, it's suddenly a problem?

The Foxconn factory in India manufacturing iPhones looked like something from the previous century! And the Chinese automated manufacturing looked like something from the future. Now Chinese people will first consider Chinese brand electric vehicles cars when buying electric cars , because Chinese brand electric vehicles have more reliable quality, more advanced technology application, and higher market share. America always talks of "threat"....for everything that challenges them....always from an hostile concept....instead of calling "competition"
When you sucked at what you do and cannot compete, the stronger competitor is defined as a threat to you in every way possible. 😂😂😂

Agree. Embarrassment and shame are not in their vocab.
Totally!
You do not know anything about economics and politics.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Here is why some of the reasons West afraid of China?
1) Manufacturing superiority over US.
2) Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) = WEST failed BBBW.
3) Better Infrastructure > US collapsing infrastructure & deteriorating public facilities.
4) Beidou = GPS.
5) Heavenly space station = International space station.
6) China Cheap Electric Vehicle (EV) > US internal combustion engine & Expensive EV.
7) Huawei 5G & coming 6G > US 4G & 4.5G😅
8) China lifted 850 millions people out of poverty > US incredible surge in homeless & surging middle class poverty.
9) China strict Drugs and Guns Rules. > US drugs addiction and Guns violence mass shooting. Safety problems.
10) China strict anti corruption laws > US disguise political corruptions by lobbyist as political donations.
A strong China = A strong global south
This is what they fear most 😅
USD is a weapon. Democracy is a weapon.
What happened in Gaza: "just peacefully conflicts"
China sells product: "Big threat to the world, we need more money from tax payer"🤣
Yeah, SHEIN is a testimony. Garment business move from China to SE asia and South Asia many years (>10)ago due to rise human cost, but shein still made in China in a reasonable cost by leverage high efficiency of infrastructure and supply chain.
What can i say. I am really impressed by those factories.
You don't see workers in most of those factories in the video and the other aspect is that those factories are huge.

Up until recently US autos were still very popular in China and GM andFord makes a lot of $ from Chinese consumers. Only now when they see their country is being sanctioned unfairly do they slowly decide to foresake the Western brands like GM Ford, VW BMW, Mercedes-Benz auto because the China government is very smart, they provide incentives for their citizens to buy their own EVs and spends $ in infrastructures like electric grids, 5G 6G networks , Belt and Road I, instead of billlions and billions on useless wars abroad that produce nothing but destroy other countries.

In fact, people everywhere are the same, after all, the company's profits will not go into your savings ( )
纸上谈兵
The term "cheap labor" reflects the reality of your meager salary. However, in the eyes of these strange media, "rising labor prices" has become a completely bad thing.
Sports entertainment isn't competitive sport...but most believe it is because they never played the game...
In the past 30 years, the Chinese auto market has been dominated by German, Japanese and American automakers. China is the world's largest auto market, almost twice the size of the second-ranked US auto market. But China has not complained about the overcapacity of the US, Germany and Japan. Now that China's electric vehicles have only been rising for two or three years, with only 5% of the production capacity exported (Chinese brands are almost invisible in the West), the West has labeled it as "overcapacity" and even imposed a 100% tariff, while more than 75% of the production capacity of German and Japanese brands is exported. How hypocritical.
China is forging ahead and leaving those who have failed to plan, further and further behind which has instigated the U.S. use of its "Tonya Harding knee-capping your competitor to win a race" method. Truthfully, a despicable and evil act which hopefully will not win in the long run - even as Tonya Harding and her supporters did not.

Unless they can develop a better development system, or take the lead in the fourth Industrial Revolution🤷♂️
