I like to use post stitches when making hats. Gives a great look. Also, for the hat bands. Nice tutorial!)
I do too! Thank you! 😊
Thank you for your video! Nice bulky thread and zoom-in so I can see what you’re doing. I do have a question about a “horizontal relief stitch.” My book says to do a FPdc on every post in the row below and then gives the stitch count. This implies a FPdc should be used, in particular, on the first and the last post of the row below. Does one simply do a FPdc on those posts like normal because those two look strange whenever I do it, even when the others in the middle of the row look fine?
Thank you for these tutorials here and on your blog. Do you think you could possibly do a tutorial video for your Wildwood chunky cowl? It seems like it should be simple enough, but I can't for the life of me get it to turn out like your photos. It always turns out so much more holey. And which green did you use of the Wool-ease thick & quick? Is it Grass or Cilantro?
You're welcome! Mine is a bit holey in real life just because of the stitch and the large hook. It could just be that the shadows in the picture aren't showing the holes. I used cilantro in sample.
Have you tried crochet post stitches before?
