One important thing to note, is that this video is not a substitute for the written chart or pattern and it assumes knowledge of how to work the c2c stitch. You might find this video about the joinging technique more helpful: ruclips.net/video/wV0YX1wHU7I/видео.htmlsi=OAVAPgWQbDkcL3EU . The videos for this crochet along were some of my first so there was a little bit of a learning curve I had to work through.

Is this similar to the Alpine stitch? It is absolutely gorgeous and looks like it would make a gorgeous and cozy blanket or pullover or cardigan! Maybe even a hat and scarf set. I love to hear the puppy walking around, no apologies necessary.

Your tutorial saved me so much trouble!! I just finished my first crochet project (a blanket) and soon realized that it was shorter than I expected, so I needed to add some length to it, but I did not know how to do that; all the previous videos I watched were either more complicated techniques for adding length or they began with the "chain 6 start" which I didn't need. I'm so, so glad I found your video!!! It was so easy to follow! Thank you so much!

A good blocking after project is completed stitching will take care of that curling problems quite nicely. Keeping the loops looser will be helpful to begin with in keeping it in a less curling state. The combo of the two is most successful. One should block everything they make anyway really for a professional finished appearance.
